We had Armageddon here last night in the shape of thunder storm after thunder storm last night road was flooded stream was up 2 feet again but thankfully no homes flooded like they were a couple months ago. all the water poured down the path behind all 8 of our terraced houses and into my garden, its well drained so didn't see any standing water. It was crash bang wallop overhead for about an hour or so, Cliffy was zzzzzzzzz all the way through it he's never been bothered with noise.

Marian, our family goes back to the middle 1600s to a prominent (but not landed gentry) family in Cheshire, one of our family names is the Cheshire village where we hail from, I was born and raised in the west country but 20 years ago I upped sticks and moved - to Cheshire... I see dogs s off lead walking along a pavement here all the time with their owners 15-20 feet behind them Actually it is against the law its in the latest version of the animal welfare act, a fact I keep pointing out to the PCSO's who walk around so hopefully something can be done about it. Am sure there is a you tube clip of Trevor Cooper explaining it somewhere, possibly at crufts or supervet Noels big dog event..

Why would you let dogs like that off lead in the first place? Yes its awful it happened but it happened through stupidity and I cannot stand that. The house 3 doors down came knocking a few months ago to see if I had seen their spaniel, as it got out when they opened the front door to someone - it makes my blood boil how this kind of behaviour can result in the ending of a dogs life in this way and I ended up having a right old go at them for it. I only let cliffy off lead in certain places as I know I can outrun him if he did bolt for some reason.

Hi all I don't usually post from home but I am on my tablet putting my feet up for 5. Hoping I can post pics on here without the faf of photo bucket. Hugs to all that need one as well.

Perhaps its a personal thing to that person so it wont need to be on show for others to see as its not for their benefit

I think they can be reset by switching them off at the plug, switching on again at the same time as holding the on button on your dishwasher, the control unit might think its gone into a testing or rest cycle. You may have to do this several times as its a timing issue between the electricity coming on and the unit recognising it.

Oh I know where that is Jayne I used to go past all the time, haggling good I love a good haggle Need to figure out transporting said cooker home though as I only have a small 2 seater sports car, I thought I would plan my mid-life crisis instead of it surprising me out of the blue hahahaa

Can someone tell me what the place in Manchester/stockport is called for discounted cookers and appliances. My cooker is giving up the ghost and as am moving house soon I don't want to buy a new one as the other house already has a cooker in it. It was mentioned in a previous months thread but I cant remember now thanks
