I hope you don't mind but i have copied some of the info for a friend she feeds her dog on bakers and when i look after her for two weeks while she was away it was like living with a squirrel on speed When we first got Lucky he had been feed on that stuff and because you are told not to change there food as puppies we didn't what a big mistake that was he was climbing the wall so at 6mths changes where made and now a much happier dog Alot of people think there dogs like the taste and colours of bakers what a lot of c**p the dog really doesn't care would you feed your child a food like that with all those e numbers in i wouldn't

She has injured her front leg and is now on three legs instead of four For any of you that don't remember Oni she is my beautiful greyhound bitch after a friday from hell (my neighbour had a big house fire) with 5 fire engines in my road and unable to go to work due to smoke in the house and was worried about the dogs i had to go and get some trainer for work so went saterday instead big mistake as when we came back Oni came out of her crate on three legs well her leg was double the size so i paniced thinking it was broken rushed her down to the vets who where brill they said nothing was broken but no running about for 2 weeks on lead walks only max 10min (i think oni was rouching in her crate and got her leg court some how) she has the biggest crate you can buy but dog knows how she did it Anyway so no starters comp on Saterday at Frimley for her but i will still be there on Sunday with Lucky but i can't help but feel abit disapointed about not running my girly she has done so well in training and is running without netting and is coping with the box very well considering her long legs and doing everything at 100mph

No clears rounds for us but still had a great time Lucky really enjoyed himself and even though we got eliminated twice he still was 100% better that last year ie no running off or weeing in the ring so i was very pleased but sooo cold Well done everyone who got clear rounds and was placed roll on Brentwood All About Dogs

Karens taking Jo with her i don't know about bee. Frances is coming with Jazz so i will see you there tomorrow. Lucky was doing well at training on thursday night but it might all go to pot on sunday (its the handlers fault you know) must take some calms before i go.

Hi is anyone going to the UKA show this weekend the 24th 25th march at Newbury. I will be there on Sunday doing the Nursery class and the Steaplechase class with Lucky. He has been doing really well at training so fingers crossed that he will stay in the ring and not do loop the loop around the ring

Hi i have used the canny collar on my dog Lucky and at first it worked wonderfully but he has learn't that he can still pull so on Satarday i bought 2 dogmatics one for him and on for my Greyhound that pulls and lunges and i must say that i am very impressed I bought the webbing ones and the fit is great no more sore eyes or rubbed sore noses the canny collar was about £16.00 when i bought one 2yrs ago at the wag and bone show and the dogmatic were £12.99 for a size 1 and £14.99 for a size 3. so price wise nearly the same.

My guys at the moment are being feed forthglade and Arden Grange lamb and rice which they love both have put on weight and have a lovely shinny coat Lucky is so fussy in what he eats but has been eatting this for 6 weeks now (touch wood) I found that mine lost weight on Burns.

I was watching a program last night on the discovery channel about zoo's and it got me thinking! The zoo was breeding to many tigers and had to put hormone inplants into the lady tigers to stop this happening but in the wild some breeds of tigers are dieing out. I myself don't like zoos. we have a zoo near us called Marwell which i feel is not the best zoo around as the animals alway look bored and some of the inclosures are in need of updating and are on the small size. i don't believe that wild animals should have to live in these conditions. Iwould by far like to see animals being left in the wild or be reabilitated back into the wild which i know some zoos are trying to do. and with out zoos some animals would not be around today but is that just natures way. so what do you think of zoos?

I meet this beautifull girl last night she is really unusual with her colouring, and very well behaved.

Thank you cocoa that makes more sence then what i was doing I was doing it by holding a treat in my hand and luring lucky back a few times then waiting for the lucky to offer the movement but this hasn't been working as he just offers other things. He normally picks things up really well but this has cofused him but i will try your meathod

Oh Good can you please do a step to step guide of how you did it please as i have been trying to get Lucky to do this for ages and he hasn't got a clue Do you use clicker training? many thanks

I find on a forum that you can't put across what you really what to I alway read back what i'v put and think oh my dog what did I say that for I do understand that face to face i would probley say nothing and then get upset later as thats the kind of person i am.

I am pleased to say that Lucky will not be vaccinated ever again After talking to my vet who agrees that in Lucky case that it would not be advisable I will vaccinate Oni this year but she will not need to be done again after this as this year is her first booster.

Oh Lucy I thought that Elle was alot better on Monday Night At one point she was barking and really enjoying herself. Why not do the same thing that you did with agility and give her time of maybe a month or so and then go back. Get possitive all this negitivity can't be good remember when i started agility with Lucky you helped me feel better see you on Saturday. Annyetta
