  4. Reggie and Pepe have to be crated at night or they will leave some nice squiggy cold suprises for hubbie in the morning and Mowgs just preffers her bed downstairs but does come up sometime durin the night but doesn't go on our bed. I used to have Chucks with me always tho, I couldn't sleep without her (and still can't ) I do however always find one of our cats with either one of my boys all curled up and protecting them from monsters

  6. No way Kazz!!! lol like I said,Idon't do Jack ,she is very very lovely and I am tempted but that would mean the end of fostering for me,no way hubbie will have 5 dogs in the house tho this time I think its Joey who's gonna miss her, they've bonded more then Iexpected,I did explain and he does understand it but still... bless ,she's fast asleep on his bed with him
  7. most of you who now me , know that I love my doggies to be fluffy cute and spaniel-like but guess wot Carol managed to make me take home with me...... yep , a Jack Russel flippin Terrier  but omg is she cute!! anyway, without delay, may I introduce to you my new foster girl : she really has all her legs, but she does have that silly JRT walk where she alternatly keeps one of her back legs up bless her sorry I only have 2 piccies of her sofar, she just wouldnt sit still long enough lol,but I just wanted to share her, she was found a stray, taken in by a couple for about a month but then they got told by their landlord they couldnt keep her the piccies really dont do her justice ,I'll try and get some better ones but she's fast asleep on the bed with Joey right now as for her name, well ,the boys were having a bath last night and I said to Joey, why don't we call her Bubbles? at which point Benjamin got up,pointed his little finger at her and said Bubble ! so it was decided with her lovely nature,I don't think she'll be waiting for her forever home very long, even hubbie has fallen for her and (again) would like to swap her for Reggie no worries tho ,he (Reggie that is) won't be going anywhere without me Vivian -xxx-
  8. Cinders and Purrpuss will be in my thoughts too wishing you a peacefull passing bootifull Cinders
  9. I dont think the point is who's poo is who's lol ,but Im sure you'd know if your dog done something and you didn't pick it up it's just to point out just how much sh*t is on the loose and make people aware of this
  10. I think it will make a difference, maybe not as much as wanted, but I did a similar thing in front of my door, somebody always let their dog do it's business right outside either my forntdoor or somewhere on the way to my cardoor ,it got to a point that in aa mad moment I grabbed one of the kids chunky chalks and made a very visible circle around it on the tarmac and wrote next to it something in the lines of 'please clean up,kids playing here and camera in use ' ,I tell ya,it worked a treat!! no more poopies in front of any of my doors for a loooooong time , and if I walk Joey up to school I feel the urge to do the same allllllllll the way to school it's just bl**dy every where
  11. wow! that looks fab!! what a brilliant idea, and yeah ofcourse we'd love one here too, I also used to use the human ones with my Chucks, she would have loved this but I think some obstacles might be a bit high/big for my paps eventho I used to do agility with Reggie
  12. that's a good point, atleast this way he got another chance, and what a great chance with your help ! he is absolutly gorgeous
  13. WoW!! that's amazing !! her owners must be over the moon I don't know if you remember She-a,the little Staffy from my friend around the corner (I've posted several times about her) ,she got lost on sunday but my friend hadnt told me,I found out through another friend and seeing as I help out at HWAR, ofcourse it's easy for me to find out if she had been found by the dogwarden.Acually She-a had taken off with her 12mnth old daughter Sasha, her ex-partner's dog .So this morning I gave Carol a ring to find out if they were safe and indeed they were, but I wasn't sure wether it was in the best interest of the dogs to go back to their owners if they couldn't be bothered to look for them, specially not the 12mnth old one,the chap is more interested in status then welfare if that makes sense so I just wanted to think about it for a little while before deciding wether or not to tell my friend where they were. But then as if she had read my mind, within 20 min of my fonecall to Carol, guess who was knocking at my door? yep , my friend, asking me if I knew which dogwarden/rescue to call for our area, in tears cause her dogs had run of and her little girl was asking for She-she all the time and she's only 20mnths old, so understandebly I told her I knew where they were and we rang the dogwarden straight away, arranged for only She-a to come back ,cause we both agreed Sasha will better of in a more capable home I then made one more fonecall to make an appointment to have her chipped and then we had to wait for the dogwarden to come and bring her, I know it was only a few days but it was sooooooo lovely to see them reunited and happy and over the moon ,I too had tears running down my face one other important thing I noticed tho, my friend was completly suprised that dogs only get 7 days in the pound before they are handed over to a rescue or like in some other pounds pts , do you think that the general public might not know this either?
