Tyler is a handsome, dark brindle boy, who has been in rescue for some time, spending part of that time in a foster home. He loves people and really misses being in a home. He is house trained and OK with female dogs outside of the kennel, but doesn’t like dogs in his face. Tyler get on fine with older children and ignores cats. He travels well in the car and walks well on a lead. He knows basic commands and comes when called. He needs a secure garden with high fencing and an experienced owner able to deal with his dislike of other male dogs. He would be best as an only dog. On another forum is info about an 8 yr old who had been in rescue overlooked for ages (so not in best of conditions unlike Ebbi) who had a double mammary strip to remove lots of big lumps and she is fine. G

Jan is a lovely young whippet cross pup who is extremely friendly and very lively. She has lived in a household with children and cats and is house trained. She knows the basic commands and is good on and off a lead. She likes to play with toys and is quiet in the car but can get car sick. She gets on very well with other dogs but is a typical lively pup and would be a bit too much for an old dog. Missy is a very affectionate quiet little girl, who loves to sit on your lap and have a cuddle. She likes her walks but is happy to get back to her bed. She is house trained, walks well on and off a lead, and gets on fine with other dogs outside of the kennel, although she is possessive of her kennel space. She had a mammary tumor when she came to us, which has now been removed. Dougal is a lovely quiet 7-year-old Shitzu who is totally bewildered since his owner died. He just wants a lap to sit on and a quiet life. He is fully house trained, good on a lead and timid around other dogs. He doesn’t like loud noises and loves company. He does need to visit the Vets once a month. He also travels very well in the car. Pepper is a lovely gentle 5-year-old St Bernard who loves everyone, especially children. She needs a home with someone who is experienced with big dogs, where there are no sheep. She is fine with quiet dogs but does not like other dogs “in her faceâ€. She has lived out at night in the past and only been allowed indoors during the day but she has always been clean in the house and kennel. Riz has now been rehomed

We have had overwhelming interest in Jemima - so she should have a new home very soon.

Riz is a gentle, affectionate German Shepherd who has had 3 homes already through no fault of his own. We desperately want to find him somewhere he can be settled and be sure he will not have to move on again. He is a really well behaved boy, fully house trained, quiet when left, good in the car (once he realizes he isn’t moving on again) and good on and off a lead. He ignores cats and livestock and has been good with dogs he has met on the beach. He knows basic commands and loves a cuddle. He is also good around children. Jay needs a new home because his owner passed away. He is a lovely 8-year-old collie who is good on and off a lead. He is house trained, is good with other dogs and likes nothing more than a good cuddle. He had a big lump removed from his back leg but it was just fatty tissue. He would really love to be back in a home environment. As he has not been in a home with children we will not re-home him with toddlers. He has not lived with cats but ignores horses and sheep. He travels well in the car but is a bit reluctant to get in.
