  1. Quotes disappeared on me so here's what I can remember. Glad you were pleased with the hotel Jazz. Can we see photos of you in uniform Snow? Michele's washer, open your door please I bought an omelette maker in Aldi yesterday so had nice fluffy omelette for lunch. Unfortunately, Andy decided he didn't want his so ended up eating his also *oink oink*
  2. Me too I'll soon have one for every day of the week so if I keep on going ....... Great news on both counts Snow So am I. Don't know why my mirror keeps aging me
  3. Jazz - that was very nice of your vets and well done Mouse. Alex - I would have said you were younger too. Owl - enjoy your spin. Hopefully it will happen soon. It's very windy here again today. The car was fighting against it going into town. Hope it dies down soon. I started knitting a couple of months ago and have become quite addicted. I'm running out of wool and the only wool shop in town opens when she feels like it, which never seems to coincide with when I am there. Does anyone know of any online shops for good value wool? I will be checking out ebay but would like some other options too.
  4. Jazz, the hotel looks beautiful. When is the big day? Wow Murtle Something, go girl
  5. Kara would just be another Alesha At least she would be able to keep a close eye on her man
  6. Oh I like Stephen Tompkinson so will add that to my list also (I may never go out again ). New series of Wild at Heart starting on Sunday. I've been following that from the start so am up to date. You're welcome I admire anyone going to a gym. I just can't be arsed (just for Alex lol) with gyms. Although I do need to get off my increasing bum and get some exercise to lose weight. Must get exercise bike out again when Christmas tree is put away. I've been baking gingerbead men. Yes I know Christmas is over but I promised some to my nephew in exchange for a pudding but my last batch were a disaster for some reason. These ones look good so I will be able to present them with pride tomorrow
  7. I saw the first couple episodes of Lost and knew why it was called Lost as I was totally lost. I'm not going there again OH is out all day working (thank God he got a couple of days work, things are very tough) and I am bringing Andy to his friends for the afternoon. A whole afternoon to myself
  8. [quote name='merledogs' Murtle - can't remember if it's been mentioned already, but have you watched the BBC1 Sherlock series? Answering on Murtle's behalf - No I haven't so adding that to the list also
  9. Morning. Still a bit windy here and chilly so I will light the range shortly and that will get the house all snuggly. I didn't see that Alex. I will add it to my list Keep the suggestions coming everyone
  10. Watched a few episodes of 24 before but I got a bit sick of how many times a man can come near to death in such a short space of time But thanks for the suggestion
  11. Saw some of the Tudors before and it wasn't my scene. But thanks Cheryl. You've hit the nail on the head Michelle. Any clips I've seen it always looks good. Thank you I'll look that one up. Glad your Dad is doing better
  12. It's the Patrick Swayze one I remember. I can't find a free link for the 2004 one
  13. Oh no I couldn't watch anything vampirey. I'm not into science fiction either. I'll have to look up North and South, I think I remember it
  14. As I don't watch BGT, she won't be bothering me any more Russell and Bruno together They would want to be strapped to their seats
  15. Tis very windy here too and torrential rain showers. The chook run is just a mud bath, much to the delight of the ducks. I am shattered. I couldn't get to sleep last night and then got a bout of heartburn so had to get up at 4am to get a Rennie, watched a bit of telly and went back to bed, but still didn't sleep properly. There'll be nothing productive done in this house today
  16. With my hubby, it's Only Fools and Horses. If it ever comes to stage here in Ireland, I can audition for any character as I know all the lines word for word. As as result of the above, I have taken to watching TV series on the internet. I've watched all 7 series of Desperate Housewives and 2 series of Downton Abbey. Where to next? Any suggestions?
  17. Happy New Year everyone I'm so sorry Jazz I hope everyone who is hurty or lurgified starts feeling better soon
  18. I appear to be having internet, or laptop, problems. I got FB back and lost the refuge. There's a very annoying flashing light on the front of my laptop when using internet wireless. So I keep laptop plugged in and turn off light. But for some reason my internet is going a bit funny if I turn it off. I deleted some programmes earlier that I don't use any more. I'm hoping this is just coincidence cos lappy/internet was working fine before I did deleting
  19. Anyone else having problems accessing Facebook? Surely it can't just be me as I've tried Google Chrome, Opera and Firefox and I can't get on. It can't just be me, can it
  20. for Owl. Sleep well Polly. Haven't posted in here for ages but wanted to wish you all a very happy Christmas. Nollaig Shona
