  1. I'm so so sorry Jazz, a horrible time for you RIP Nesty Spud now has some staples, he's also to keep his hoodie on, he did get lots of compliments from Angus the vet on his fashion sense though . We also got the results back for his lumps, 2 of them were grade 1 mast cell, and 1 was a nothing lump. It does mean though that he'll have to get the lump the vet missed off in a few weeks . She missed the lump I'd pointed out ( they are teeny) and found one I'd missed and took that off instead .
  2. Spud has a vet appointment this morning, silly sod has ripped open stitches he got on Wednesday ( more lumps ). He's now wearing a dog hoodie with security printed on the back to try and keep the wound clean . I can't seem to keep my Nag Champa joss sticks lit
  3. You have a Box Van ! ? My fab Shag-me-shoes arrived today dunno if they'll go with the dress which I have to pick up next week, but I sure do love those shoes, miracle of miracles I can walk in them, all four inches of heel, they're also surprisingly comfy due to a wide toe box so even my rather chubby feet can spread properly. They even make my chunky calves look elegant and lady-like, which is saying something, I'd swear someone swapped my legs for those of a Shetland pony Ed's back home today, but the good news is he's away working again next week ! . I've so loved being here on my own.
  4. It shouldn't get too out of hand at this time of year, have you tried those things you stick on the window ? those work pretty well, the fly just has to walk over them for it to kill them. I also found out by accident that if you spray the window ( it does make a bit of a mess ) it will work the same way as the stickers for a while I use Vapona. If it gets too bad you could always get a pest control type person in.
  5. Hope your mum's on the mend today
  6. I also get sporadic bluebottle infestations, I think in my case it's dead birds in the walls that are causing the problem, we have an old house and before we moved in and rectified the problem, birds were nesting in the wall cavity, they would get in through small gaps in the wooden boards above the windows. I used to be able to hear them cheeping away. I'm guessing some would die and get fly eggs layed in them. Not much I can do without ripping the house apart so I just kill the fly's when I see them ( I'm a bit obsessive about flys, can't bare one to be in the room). Could a similar thing have happened in your house ?, it's surprising where birds will nest, they can get into teeny gaps so you might not even be aware of them. I'm expecting a new infestation soon as darling Daisy has hidden a lamb bone somewhere and I can't find it , I'll just have to wait till it starts to pong
  7. I must be off my fecking head, I've just bought a pair of red shoes with a four inch heel !!.....I NEVER wear heels, but I have a wedding to go to next month and got a 50's type red and white polka dot dress, so need laydee shoes, but 4 inches ! , I may finish the evening in A&E these ones, not sure if they'll go, they may get sent back
  8. Wagners' not still in surely ?!!. Nicolo was rather irritating and incredibly mediocre so I'm glad he's away. Surprised FYD got the boot, I thought they were quite good, certainly better than any of the girl groups, that girl group that got through were a joke, they look like a line of those dancing flower pots .
  9. Bugger, I didn't realise it was on last night ...so who got shafted ?
  10. Probably true but the difference was her song suited her and her voice, I don't know why they can't choose their own songs, the judges always pick rubbish songs.
  11. I hates gloss paint too gets everywhere, takes for ever to dry and always ends up on dogs/cats paws Hope mammy Owl makes a speedy recovery Alex, hope the Simon Cowell dream wasn't to traumatic, I still remember the awful dream I had about shagging Noel Edmonds, that sort of thing can scar you for life I am away into Edinburgh to see Mum today, looks like Big Sis won't be going so an hour of thumb twiddling for me. Eddie will be away in Oban all next week
  12. I missed the first half so I don't know what lovely Matt was like, but what I did see with the exception of Mary was s*** quite frankly, I thought a lot of the songs' didn't suit the singers, Cher's song in particular was way off the mark, they took what had been someone with a bit of individuality and made her into a carbon copy of every other singer out there, utter carp.
  13. Pllllllease let it not be Wagner, he gave me the creeps
  14. Continued good thought for Con, and you
  15. I also read in the Daily ( hate) Mail ( I didn't buy it honest, it was my Dad's ) that the family didn't meet all the criteria for staying in the country because the Mum had been claiming benefit's to which she wasn't entitled to.
  16. Ton's of " don't be a tumour " thoughts coming your way .
  17. I wish I could stop sleeping !

  18. Hope Heathers' ok, Lovely day here, have done a bit of gardening this afternoon and found the hugest worm I've ever seen.....Kelly ate it
  19. I quite like Cher, although if she's 17 god help her when she's older, she looks more like 27. Can't stick her with the blond hair, what the hell did she have on her eyelashes ! silly bint, and she can't sing to save herself.
  20. Mine still get dragged out in the rain, poor sod's, I'm sure they'd be quite content to stay indoors I haven't put the heating on yet, extra jumpers all round, this place costs a fortune to heat and being on oil for our heating we're pretty much stuck with the same supplier, it was cheap once upon a time. We've been having problems with getting any satellite channels, Sky engineers just been, we now have a new box but the same problem so now have to wait for a new viewing card and see if that fixes it, but in the mean time he's managed to leave us with a very crackly phone line at Taffy, is he auditioning to play the virgin Mary in the local nativity ?
  21. Dogs don't like couscous, ungrateful swines

  22. for all poorly peeps. I can't believe it's page 2 of October already ! Infusion day today, got home to find that the hooge delivery of kiln dried fire wood I'd ordered had arrived, despite being assured it wouldn't be delivered early, just as well Ed was off with a urinary infection or else I'd have been fecked. Waiting on carrot and corriander soup to thicken a bit, Ed thinks his friend Peter should get some but I don't want to share cause he's a prick, he has a female cat that he allows to have litter upon litter of kittens, he even has 2 males from her first litter entire, but according to him they won't mate with their mum prick, he may leave wearing the soup
  23. That's brilliant ! hope you have a great meal and a lovely birthday when it comes
  24. Very sad news gentle healing hugs to her friends and family
