  3. I keep thinking of that special word Michelle uses to describe her OH's special habits
  4. Twas Ms Melps who did infer such a thing Oh laura, I went through a momentary phase of dentist infatuation last week, it lasted until I realised I'd have to go back. Think I was demob happy (as in demob from regular dental visits)
  5. So nice to see an independant observer confirm that previous episodes were nothing to do with me Hmm I recall my dentist wittering on about how bendy the roots in that tooth were................. Ah well we shall see tomorrow or Friday when I go back, tis a long weekend here so I hope it's tomorrow, I've no desire to drive from Dublin to my house (60 miles) on Friday evening with the traffic.
  6. We've all become reformed characters since you went into hospital Michelle. No smut even for weeks Dee hope your gran is ok
  7. This root canal was ages ago (think Feb/March) and since I've had pain which is dull, and only when I touch the tooth as described. I thought it was the next tooth which needed a filling, but that was done Monday, and since then the pain is getting worse, it's a dull pain, but now I also have a constant pain in my cheek which is a hot pain, and I have no desire to eat on that side of my mouth I didn't get a crown as I couldn't due to needing braces. ETA: What nice note from your dogwalker I've just had a reply on a dental issues forum on another board, from what I have said, it's possible that the root canal didn't fill all of the gap left following the removal of the nerves, so I will need an xray to determine if that is the case and whether or not there is an infection. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm................
  8. I have to go back to the dentist The tooth that is sore is one of the big back ones that had a root canal, everytime I touch it with my tongue/another tooth/food, I get a dull pain, and i've a constant pain in my cheek. How the feck I can have a pain in a tooth that has had all the nerves removed is bloody beyond me. That aside, evening all not caught up today. for those who need them.
  9. God I have to ring the dentist tomorrow. One of my root canal teeth is sore, I thought i was due to needing a filling in the tooth next door, but that's fixed now and root canal tooth is still sore. I'm sure Grumpy (dentist) will be thrilled to see me (NOT)
  10. Oh dear God I've just tuned in and caught pervy Mikey *vomit*

  13. Nah I suspect the new office will be in a different building from my teams, they are now in a different building from me, and are too lazy to walk over for every little thing. I don't mind them coming in for a chat, it's a pain at the moment as they can't and we have to go and find some corner or another. NN tiks!
  14. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Noel Edmonds *shudder* I had two freaky dreams when I was younger, one was that a thatched house had gone on fire and people had died, woke up the next morning and it was on the news, another was an assault where someone was killed, woke up and the same, it was on the news. Last year before I started my new job I had a dream that my boss was a closet franciscian monk, and everyday from 10 am - 10:30 he emerged from his office, dressed in his robes with the cowl up, collected his fellow monks (there were loads of them) and they went and prayed for 20 odd mins on a hill in work (there is no hill in work) After visiting a petshop once, I dreamed that the mini sharks had escaped, grown and were eating the rabbits in their pens and work up OH demanding that he drive to the pet shop to save the rabbits. I dream a lot and remember the darn things as well, I've had some right freaky dreams.
  15. You should play "Son of a preacherman" to her?
  16. Try Siobhan, when i worked in IBM doing tech support for the States, a customer rang up one night and said her name was Sigh O Beh Han, all four syllables. I asked her to spell it and it was Siobhan (Shove awn) her parents had seen the name on an Irish air hostess, thought it looked pretty but didn't know how to prounounce it.
  17. Evening I'm knackered. Not caught up today at all, as appropriate In desperation I moved desk yesterday away from my teams (that sounds awful but I was sharing a room with 12 of them with another six next door and frequently had up to three conversations going on at one time) Since I have moved I'm sharing with four others one of whom is on hols and OMG I have gotten so much work done, it's incredible, and my teams are emailing or phoning as they have a few minutes walk to get to me. It's amazing how much work I've gotten done in two days, and the peace and quiet is amazing. Should hear about my alleged new office by the end of next week, if it does come through it will be strange to have an office all of my own................
