  1. Could some technically minded person please explain to me if it is possible to trace a board members location and if so how is it done?
  2. Thanks, he broke my heart on more than one occasion, when he ate my collectors SWATCH for example or raced into a parked car and barely survived the OP. He also killed a chicken once belonging to a friend of mine and I nearly died when he came in with the chicken limp in his mouth... As I said, I was very very close to send him to Lurcher Link a couple of times *ggg*
  3. I hope it all goes well and he is found quickly, what a horrid thing to happen ...
  4. Toughy is an old boy now, I've rescued him from Itinerants in Limerick and he was in a dreadful state. He's 12 yro now and enjoys his couch and a cuddle with my son. He's the reason I've had childlocks on my fridge before I even had a child His little face is all grey now: I'm not looking at you: Let's cuddle: He's the dog I've learnt the most from and I was often close to a nervous breakdown because of him. He had severe SA, ate everything in sight with or without the wrapper, chased cats and fowl and once disappeared for two hours ... He's also the most accident prone dog I've ever had, I've lost count on how often he was seen by the vet when he was younger. Nowadays, he has calmed down and is just like any other old dog around here.
  5. Finnegan is feeling alot better. He hasn't fallen over in the past two days and the twist in his neck is getting better too. He's finished with his antibiotics and ear drops and the stitches will come out on Monday. He has put on FOUR (!!!) pounds and his coat is looking alot better too. I will keep you updated on his progress!

  7. http://www.herald.ie/national-news/city-ne...py-1579382.html I don't think it's funny at all.
  8. They have caved in under massive pressure from other rescue orgs and emails from the public ;) and changed the statement to: Link remains the same as in my OP.
  9. I have no idea, Ange, I have never had anything to do with them and they don't appear to be as active as the DT. Up until last year I didn't even know that BC WAS in Ireland...
  10. WTF as my first reaction too, I nearly fell off my chair.
  11. It was the only time in my life when I wore a dress as I couldn't suffer the pain when I tried to close my jeans.
  12. I remmeber when I was a child alot of game keepers got infected by foxes and badgers alot of dogs too. None of them survived. I handled a dead pine marten once and had to get very painful injections around my belly button for weeks. Not something I'd recommend .
  13. Finnegan must be feeling better as he proceeded to gobble up his food this morning and then try to take more off poor Coco. I have to tell him NO and filled his own bowl again. Today is the first day he didn't fall over when I walked him and he actually put a little bit of weight into the lead! He's met my son and was all wagly tailed (more so than with me), Nathan handed over his buttered toast and told me to feed the poor dog as he is so skinny .
  14. This statement from the KC on their frontpage is seriously piddling me off:
  15. They are (last on the list).
  16. Statement from the KC: 'Disputed' breeds: Basset hound Clumber spaniel Dogue de Bordeaux Mastiff Neopolitan mastiff Pekingese Rottweiler Shar pei St Bernard Chow chow German shepherd Bulldog Rhodesian ridgeback Cavalier spaniel (List taken from the BBC website). Rottweiler??? WHY?
  17. Despite being wobbly and it being ever so cold outside, he will not dirty the house. He's wearing a stylish K9 knitters jumper Not quite his colour scheme but it fit and is warm
  18. I wont kiss him until his worms are cleared . He went for a short walk today, kitted out in a k9 knitted jumper. And he fell over twice .. but he got back up and kept walking. There is little I can do for him now, safe putting in his ear drops twice daily and giving him his meds and food. He's a lovely lovely boy and he even wagged his tail today!
  19. Oh, please do!! Lol, I can see myself in a Santa suit. Honest, I felt so sorry for him from the moment I saw his pic. And I didn't know he was that sick, I was told, he needed a little TLC. I had a home for him but can't rehome him in that sorry state..
  20. Thank you! Hooch is going to get a new name as well (hewas named Hooch by the pound). I am thinking of calling him Finnegan.
  21. Hooch He's skin and bones: Very shaky on his legs. The stitched up ear His ear was so filled with puss that he couldn't walk, he might be deaf now.. The vet had to cut open the ear and drain it. He's got puncture wounds all over and weighs 12kg (he should be at least 22kg. He's had gravel embedded in his skin. And he was crawling with worms.
