Cheap/free Attractions In London?

Recommended Posts

Someone I know who has three kids ranging in age from 6-11 is taking a daytrip to London soon but is finding all the attractions (London Eye/Tower of London and London Dungeons) very expensive.

Can anyone suggest attractions good for kids, which are not too expensive?

And does anyone know the cheapest way to get from Gatwick to London central?

Thanks :flowers:

You are therefore a problem caused by a PEBKAC

Thank you all for your suggestions :) any more please pass them on, it's great to get the help :)

Gatwick express goes straight to Victoria station :)

Definately the cheapest :)

Changing of the guard, swapping the keys thingy (Tower of London).

Picnic's in the parks ... ( St. James is lovely and 6yr old might appreciate feeding the ducks and Pelicans), and it's on the doorstep of Buckingham Palace.

St Catherine's Dock (travel on the Docklands Light Railway is free for kids)
