More Problems For Jack

Pendlewitch

Recommended Posts

I found another lump, this time on his near hind just above his hock joint and he had it removed last Friday. The pathology came back today, it's a mast cell tumour again. The muscles of the leg are involved and the vet says he could not take enough tissue without causing weakness problems with the leg. The area will have to be watched very carefully for it recurring! I can't believe this is happening to my little dog!

I read an article in a Grace magazine my Dad handed me once which told of an old farmer recommending carrots to fight a reoccuring lump on a foot vets had been unable to solve. It did actually work for that dog & there are other suggestions on the net (from reputable organisations) that seem to say it's not as daft as it may originally sound. Good luck
