His owner was seriously ill and the family were unable to keep him. He was taken to a vet to be put to sleep the. As Jasper was in good health, the vet was very reluctant to euthanase him. Luckily, the vet called an Oldies Club volunteer, and a last minute rescue operation swung into action. Jasper is now happily settled in his new home and his future is bright but there are many other older dogs out there in need of rescue. Can you help us to continue our work by joining in with our auction? Diggerland http://www.diggerland.com/ have kindly donated a voucher to Oldies Club to use for fundraising purposes. Diggerland is an adventure park where children and adults can drive real diggers and so much more! There are four parks around England :- Kent, Devon, Durham & Yorkshire. The voucher is entry for 1 person with unlimited rides and drives for 1 day and also any accompany adults or children who accompany the voucher holder may claim 10% discount off their entry fee (Under 3s go free). The voucher is valid until 30/04/10 so the Easter holidays may be an ideal for a day trip. Conditions:- -Travel and/ or any potential accommodation costs are not included with the voucher and are the responsibility of the lucky winner. -The Committee's decision on who is the highest bidder is final. - Oldies Club cannot take any responsibility for emails going astray Bids need to be sent to this email address [email protected] .
