A Potential Friend In High Places?

Although I couldn't stand him when in office I didn't know he was a dog lover & was touched by an article I read recently from Roy Hattersley, talking of losing his own dog, Buster recently. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1242173/Roy-Hattersley-How-I-miss-beloved-dog-Buster.html

Apparently the fee for the above article was donated to Blue Cross, but his attempts at adoption there hadn't quite proved right & he's now adopted this little fella - and apparently donated the fee for the article to Thornberry

Surely a supporter / advocate for DNB if ever there was one?

i struggled to read the second article as i have tears in my eyes phew!

Me too :mecry:

I merely state, as a matter of fact, that nothing has ever caused me as much pain as Buster's death.

:mecry:I think this article really captures what so many people feel when they lose a pet and is a lovely tribute to Buster.

i have met the lovely buster on a few occasions  and roy hattersley has been a wonderful supporter of rescues for years now, attending rallies and charity events, and since becoming a victim of the dda himself truly understands how unworkable the law is.

Lovely man who truly adored buster.

Busters website and diaries amuse me greatly
