ranirottie Posted July 24, 2009 Report Share Posted July 24, 2009 I must also add an important fact that I forgot and that is most bitches are desperate to mate too, and will get out at the first opportunity, so doors and gates have to be watched very carefully. On heat bitches are mostly real tarts !!and a male can smell an on heat bitch for miles so you may have a persistent lodger (s) in your garden if you live in an area where dogs run free.Both will be desperate to get to each other and have been known to go through open windows,cat flaps etc. x Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
