He’s settled down happily with his foster family in Bath but would love a forever home of his own where he can spend his retirement years. He’s a gorgeous, very content boy who gets on well with everyone he meets. His foster mum tells us: Sandy is a friendly, gentle boy who gets on extremely well with people including children over the age of five or six. He is especially good with other dogs and has become really good friends with our two terriers whose presence helped him to settle down so quickly. Because of this we feel Sandy would be happiest in a new home where there is at least one other dog. He enjoys walks and is well behaved both on and off the lead. He is unmoved by cyclists, horses and postmen but has shown a tendency to chase cats so perhaps he’d be better in a catfree home. He’s very obedient in the house and doesn’t beg for food. Sandy is in pretty good physical condition. He has an age related problem with his feet which are rather tender if accidentally stepped on. However, apart from this, the problem has no effect on him and he enjoys long walks and scramlbing over rockpools. He’s really enjoying life. Sandy would love a new home with human and canine company where he can have fun walks and lots of cuddles. Sandy is neutered and vaccinated.
