emma_pen
We have NINE puppies looking for experienced forever homes in a few weeks time! Poppy is a beautiful young GSD bitch who is in foster care at the moment with her litter. The puppies are *almost certainly* full GSD (Poppy lived with an entire male shep at the time she would have concieved) but there can be no guarantee. They are being rehomed by / on behalf of the RSPCA Newcastle Branch. The puppies were born in their foster home and are now almost 4 weeks old. There are 7 bitches and 2 dogs, all black & tan in colour. Poppy has a fantastic temperament and great with other dogs and cats. The puppies will be very well socialised. They can be visited in their foster home from 18th April and can be rehomed at 7 or 9 weeks. They are looking for dedicated homes with time to commit to a puppy's ongoing training needs, and preferably with shepherd (or at least large breed) experience. These pups will be rehomed with an RSPCA contract & terms. All prospective homes will be vetted and donation fee of £120 includes microchipping, vaccinations and neutering. All RSPCA puppies must be neutered by 6 months of age. Feel free to forward to anyone who might be interested. emma_pen
Nico has been returned to us for rehoming as his new owners were unable to cope with him. Nico is an amazing puppy. His focus for his age is phenomenal. He offers sit by himself, knows sit/down/stand and is very keen to work. He will make a fab puppy for anyone looking for a smart pet dog - with lots of energy- or an obedience/agility/working trials dog. He is relaxed and calm around other dogs out on walks, not in their face and actually far more interested in his fosterer on the walk than on romping with the others. He has excellent recall and is very food orientated. He walks really well on lead too. He’s 14 wks old, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped and attending puppy classes, and is crate trained. House training is coming along fine. He is a well socialised and happy, calm little puppy. General feedback from his previous owners while out and about with him was that he was friendly towards all he met. No families with kids under 10 - just minimising the puppy biting possibilities - and we would prefer people who are active and/or into dog sports or prepared to attend classes with him. No full time workers please. So far he is showing quite a bit of interest in cats so I think new owners would have to consider working on distracting him so the novelty wears off, as we are currently doing. Rehoming will be done according to RSPCA terms and conditions which includes a donation fee. A neutering voucher will be given to the new owners - he must be neutered by 12 months of age as part of RSPCA rehoming contract.
