Ginty is an absolutely gorgeous 12 year old Yorkshire X Border Terrier girl who came into Oldies Club care when her owner sadly passed away. Ginty is in an Oldies Club foster home in Norfolk.

Here is a summary of what Ginty’s foster carer has told us about her:

“Ginty is a dear little dog who may be older in years but is still young at heart and loves her small walks or is happy to potter around in the garden.

Ginty is a ‘people’ dog. Once she knows you she will follow you everywhere. She is gentle and very affectionate little girl who loves all the attention. Ginty loves to curl up in a cosy bed or a sunny spot in the garden and have a morning and afternoon nap. Ginty likes her gentle brush in the morning but does not like her paws being touched, so when she has her claws cut by the vet, they use a muzzle. She has let us bath her and we had no trouble with this.

We have no problems with food - she will eat anything and will do anything for it! Chicken is her favourite food. When Ginty drinks water, it sometimes makes her cough. She is frightened of loud bangs such as fireworks. Ginty can be left for reasonable periods of time without becoming anxious or destructive. She travels well in the car and will fall asleep after a few minutes.

Ginty is looking for is a loving, calm home with people who will give her all the TLC she deserves. Ginty is suitable to live with older children - she is frightened of very young children and will hide away from them. Ginty can be little timid of other dogs when she first meets them but when she gets to know them she is fine. So she would love to find a new home with or without another four legged friend, but not a cat as she will bark and chase them.

If you could find a place in your heart for this beautiful little girl and you feel you could offer her a forever home, you would make her dream come true.â€

Ginty is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and flea and worm treated. She has suffered from Demodex skin condition in the past. This seems to have cleared up well, but it is possible it could flare up again in future and would need to be treated with Frontline and special baths.
