One is guidelines/training for drivers asked to do handovers in public places. Are there any guidlines/instructions that we can bring to the discussion? Anne Grose Posted February 16, 2009 Report Share Posted February 16, 2009 I think this is a really good idea - when I first started Oldies Club sent me their transport guidelines which I have always used whenever I transport. I think the only thing I have started doing since I heard about all those poor dogs being lost during handover, is to make sure one person holds the lead through the dog guard while the other opens the boot if it isn't crated and the dog now travels with a lead on which I never used to do.
