Ceredigion Animal Rescue Posted November 27, 2008 Report Share Posted November 27, 2008 (edited) Sandy is a very affectionate but boisterous lab x. He is around 1 year old but acts like a big puppy. He is very responsive but, like a lot of young dogs can be easily distracted. He needs someone used to boisterous dogs who can provide calm but firm control. He is good with other dogs but can be a bit boisterous. We feel he is too boisterous to be homed with young children, and would do well with a young female dog to keep him in his place and wear him out a bit. He knows the basic commands. His house training needs more work as he may have lived out in the past. Sandy will make someone a wonderful dog if they are prepared to give him some time and patience.
