fee4
thought i would start this... i saw West Side Story yesterday in the West End. if you have to sell your grannies shoes-get a ticket. the dancing was awesome, songs brilliant, and the singing was world class. we ended up in this proper italian cafe-chatting to the owner-who was a joy-he too had seen WSS-and ended up singing bits for us! anyone else seen/read/visited somewhere they want to recommend? fee
Spins4me
If you like history etc this is a freebie and really enjoyable. It requires planning ahead as getting tickets can take a while to get from your MP. See link below. http://www.parliament.uk/about/visiting/tour.cfm It's a guided tour with jolly guides who have interesting stories about the building and its history. You get to stand where the PM stands to make speeches, walk up the stairs the Queen uses when she opens parliament etc etc. At the end there is a good gift shop with reasonably priced stuff to buy. Not really suitable for younger kids. Disabled access. Edited July 27, 2008 by Spins4me
