He is very boisterous when he is first let out but is fine once he has calmed down. Because he is boisterous he would not be suitable for a home with young children. He is fine left on his own for a while, travels well and has lived with cats. He is good with other dogs although he is too boisterous for an old dog. He likes to play with toys and is very affectionate.
