Running loose at/near the Silent Valley Civic Amenity Site, Cwm, Ebbw Vale. Medium size dog, don't know whether dog or bitch, semi long hair/rough coat, black with a little white. Has approached my husband but not close enough to be caught and he can't stay there any longer. Running on grass verge alongside vehicles approaching site. Someone's thrown him/her something to eat out of their window and he/she's taken it off into a field of horses. Looks to be in good condition but apparantly there aren't any houses nearby. No Dog Wardens available until Monday morning but they're checking their register of lost dogs just in case someone's looking for him/her. My husband managed to get this photo as he/she was heading for the fields. He wasn't that close, I've cropped it out of the middle of a lovely photo with horses etc. in. Apparantly it was a bone that one of the lorry drivers threw out of his window for him/her so I guess he/she is pretty well known up there.
