Minister for Agriculture Mary Coughlan said she is preparing legislation that will include a ban on importation of certain breeds of dogs. http://www.ireland.com/newspaper/ireland/2...4550129123.html It's unclear yet whether the ban will be just on importing certain dogs or if it will go further, if indeed it goes anywhere at all.
