Jacobean Posted May 17, 2007 Report Share Posted May 17, 2007 My Yorkie Tess caught KC at 15 years of age so I just wouldn't risk it with any others in the future. All 3 of my dogs at the time were taken to a show and all 3 came down with KC afterwards. I won't take mine anywhere where there are large numbers of dogs any more. One bad experience has made me paranoid. As a result of Tess catching it her trachea completely collapsed and we nearly lost her. She needed specialist care for the rest of her life.
