Tigger
Or stress. My collie panted and paced after a certain time in the evenings, for a week or so after he came home. He wasn't in pain. We tried the whisky in milk, but Jack did not like it. After two days he refused to try it. We took him to the vets and he has had a blood test and came back as low on calcium. More tests are awaited. Recently he has been better. This may be something to do with him being given some cheese that was left over from our daughter's supper. I have given him some cheese tonight and will see if he is better with it than without. As far as pain is concerned, the Gloucousamine and Matacam help the arthritis; but a interdigital cyst in his front left paw will be causing him pain as it is infected. On the advice of the vet we are taking down to the sea for salt water baths - which he seems to like - to try to clear the infection. Thanks for your advice. Eeyore.
