  1. do you have a link to your house Ellie xx

It wasn't put on on a website hun as rented it as soon as the letting agents took it on :flowers: it is basically exactly the same as mine, little one bed, just for six months and then moving to Kent to live with Simon :elefant:

Some of the houses I am (hopefully) going to look at in August when we go to Exeter are:

    House 1

    House 2

    House 3

    House 4

RMF: my head is a bit fuzzy this morning I think I celebrated a tad too much last night

  3. I have a very ancient Blackberry indeed, and I don't know if it works on that system. I don't use it for emailing, but like it because it has a qwerty keyboard. I'm on O2, and have zillions of free texts anyway. What is the pin for, does it give you free emails or free talking? I tried to make it work with Sherlock Bones as she is another Blackberry person, but couldn't.

Its basically an extra phone number which you give to other blackberry users and once they have it they can message you for free from their blackberry .... (i hope that makse sense as I've had a couple of glasses of vino and no supper  ) :flowers:

  4. Just 'had a call from my sister, who has been doing sterling work sorting things out for mum. She has seen the social worker, who used to be a student nurse when mum was a sister and also knew my stepdad. Social worker has asked for a mini case conference with GP, social services and someone from the hospital plus my sis and auntie, and all have agreed. It will be a week on Wednesday. Hospital staff now realise that mum is very compos sometimes and completely disconnected at other times. They don't know why, and have no idea what the prognosis is. Everyone feels that she should be able to go home in a couple of weeks with the right support, and will work together to see that this is provided.

sparkle, I am glad that you are happy. I have many buckets but will not be using one, as I am in no position to talk. The texts which fly in and out of my Blackberry are somewhat bucketworthy  and not in the camping bucket sense either.

:flowers: glad things are progressing with your mum's situation hun :flowers:

blackbury to blackbury is free! what is you pin?!

  5. Why

I have a bucket I may use it

I am looking at houses to buy and can actually buy one, it isn't a dream! I have the most gorgeous, fantastic boyfriend in the world and we have discussed everything re life and future and it is ALL good (well apart from him doing another tour in Afghanistan in a few years but I can deal with that as if everything goes to plan I will have a mini us to keep me busy  ) I just love my life  I am ridiculously happy and spoilt :)

I hope the bucket was for the above and not cause you're feeling icky by the way  :flowers:

  6. Thank you lovely Fugees :flowers: :mecry:

I was already excited about moving but knowing I'll have some people I already "know" down there means I REALLY can't wait! :elefant: as I said though it won't be until the beginning of next year (probably around the 15th Jan) but after that will be looking forward to walking with you all  :flowers: (and just maybe going to the pub Holly   )

  7. Morning.

Tiks I think you should tell Mr I Haff A Crush that you had a very strange dream about him. He's bound to ask for details then you can say "Well there I was shagging your bones...."

    I reckon it'll work :)

I reckon that is a good plan of action

Failing that ask him in for a refreshing glass/jug of pimms to enjoy your newly worked on garden and take it from there!

How many of us are there down in Kent?? I will be moving there at the beginning of next year and it would be fab to have some familar faces/dogs to meet up with :flowers:

Plus ... if any of us lot do live near Sevenoaks (which is probably where we'll be) do you know of any good recruitment agencies I can register with?!! :flowers:

  9. *RANT ALERT*

I am SO fecked off with a work colleague who I thought was also a friend right now :grrr: the big boss is down today, knew they were going to complain about our boss (who is away on hols and so can't defend himself) but have kept myself out of that, only to find myself and the other secretary dragged in as 'taking the pizz' we may leave early now and again but only if we ask and have cleared our desks, we never exceed our lunch hour and we are frankly fecking fuming :grrr: it is SO lovely to feel appreciated! I can't wait to leave this place now in January, was feeling bad about it but quite frankly they can go and fecking whistle :grrr:

    *RANT OVER*

    :flowers:

  10. I am the same in that if its just me I don't bother, luckily I've not managed to kill anyone with my cooking yet (I know its a mystery to me too!) so I am able to have people round for dinner/sunday lunch else I would probably forget how to do it
