Its a wire cage but it has rotastack attatchments on it and the bed looks like a little round spaceship pod which is in 2 parts, the top screws on, it was on the floor this morning so he must have been going away at that in the night I have put the cage on the floor with a bit of apple in it had a good look around the house now its dark and will put traps down tomorrow when I have found them, thanks sooo much fingers crossed x just to say, if I find him I am going to wrap cellotape around the house x
  3. good idea, I popped back in just now, but he's no where to be seen, its like looking for the needle in a haystack my husband says I should have left him in the cage with his bro/sis whatever they are, but they were fighting too much. Help!

Right I went in to check on neighbours hamsters today, the one I put into the new cage has escaped, neighbours older son has been popping around to use her internet and he has left the bedroom door open which he was told NOT to do, the cats are only allowed in the kitchen at the mo (they have cat flap to garden) because of the house alarm, so they havent got upstairs. I put a bucket with a plank of wood leading up to it and food in the bucket, any other ideas to catch him before the 3 cats do? Thanks Karen x
  6. Yes, the 2 adults were already in there own cages, the 2 babies were in one cage, they were curled up sleeping together etc, then today they started going at each other, really fighting, luckily she had the other cage ready, I would have seperated them before I went away though if I were her, they are sooo freakin cute, I gave them a very small bit of apple each, the adults liked it the babies werent sure.
  7. I separated the 2 babies because this morning when I went in to feed them, they started fighting, they are still small but must be getting maturer now, they were chasing around the cage squeaking and squealing, thank God she had bought another cage, I needed a degree to put the bloody thing together though! I am happy now that they are separated
  8. Blimey, I didn't know that. These are the big golden hamsters, very cute indeed. They got the mother from pets@home who sold her pregnant the boy was in another cage with no back legs and my neighbours son sobbed because he thought no one would want him, so he is in a separate cage, she had 8 babies but ate 6 of them
  9. I will tell her when she gets back, thanks for that
  10. Thanks for that I was worried about diahorrea, I will give them a very small peice of apple each later, they are sooo cute, but not handled, cage are rotastack, nice and cleaned out etc, but how boring must it be being them

I'll measure it tomorrow the pump was already broken when I started looking after them they seem fine, but I was worried so got them weed, just hope I don't kill them thinking I am doing them good, I do love fish Thanks x
  12. Thaks for that, I was thinking about it going mouldy, they don't get handled so I don't wanna be putting my hand in too much, I am more used to rats x

    Fish

I am looking after my neighbours fish in a tank and there pump is not working, so I bought some weed and put it in, hopefully this will airate the water, I got air tablets too, should I be interferring like this and leave well alone or am I doing the right thing? Its been a long time since I had fish, Thanks karen x
  14. I am looking after my neighbours 4 hamsters, can I give them any fruit or veg as a treat? I don't wanna give them the runs as they only get hamster food and those honey stick treat things, thanks Karen x
  15. Oh God Surely the RSPCA could do something? I know they are not always brillient, but
  16. I dread to think especially if there are any drunken idiots who do things for a laugh etc. My customer got another fish as company for this little one but it died, so he got another and that one died, the wedding fish is going stong though, problem is I get attatched to the little critters I get upset when they die
  17. Couldn't agree more with your comments, we gave away favours at our wedding, but this is so wrong on so many counts, I had never heard of it before, whats the matter with people
  18. One of my clients came in to get his dog groomed yesterday, he is a lovely bloke, loves his dog He said in conversation that he has a fish tank, he got it because his daughter or son went to a wedding and on each table was goldfish, to be handed out as gifts to the guests This little fish is lucky because it now lives in a tank with a pump bought just for him, he was a lucky one, I've heard it all now
  19. I'm with you on this one. I know what go's on and to watch my own dogs at the end is terrible, I don't want to see the poor little Staffy, I hope the idiots have watched it though.
  20. Thats alright, it made me look clever in front of my husband
  21. I liked it and I knew it was the cabbie............. COS I READ IT ON HERE!!!
  22. Oh blimey, thats sad :mecry: so sorry, don't know what else to say really
