  2. Gibraltar use English Law, so if they can add as easily as they have done then......... (or have i got the wrong end of the stick? )
  3. Steve you need to take your sofa to a sofa neutering hospital, they will eradicate its innards and return it to you. Though afterwards you must beware of where you sit, and visitors must be ushered to other forms of seating for fear of disappearing into its bowels. Just like mine........... I can safely post pictures of my sofa, i got it off ebay, it was cheap (£50) and came with papers (reciept), its a year old, and has just recently been neutered, its made out of plastic not fabric, and definately not dangerous leather like Allies it's not made in Sweden either, looking at the quality of it, i'd say it was made in taiwan
  4. Happy Birthday Tommy (or is it Tom now you're all growed up? ) congratulations, and you too Ingi. my Tom is currently trying to saw the handles off my kitchen units, excuse me whilst i go and remove him I like today because i have got my monster pup back

    Toppo

I can't believe a year has gone by already, I miss you every day, and love you more than you'll ever know. I hope you are having a great time wherever you are, restored back to youth and health wub.gif A TIME TO REMEMBER They come into our lives for such a short time a time we wouldn't trade not even for a dime Then before you know it the years have flown by and then all of the sudden we're saying good-bye It wasn't that long ago we said our good-byes we held on to you tight as you closed your eyes Your spirit has flown home on the wings of a dove into God's loving arm's; in heaven above Over the days we've shed many tears but the memories we have will live on for years We feel your presence and we know that your near you're keeping us safe and calming our fear We think about memories from years past when you were young and strong and ran so fast we remember all the great times that we all had how you always made us happy never made us mad They were the best and happiest years we had we'll always look back on them and never be sad We look forward to the time we'll be together again and we thank the Lord for such a great friend Now you run and play up in Heaven above cradled in God's arms covered with his love Playing by the Bridge waiting for the day we come down thru the meadow to the bridge to stay The love that you showed us we'll never forget because to us you're one very special pet You're like a star in the dark of night always watching over us with the Lord's light So now we take time to remember our best friend who will always be with us even to the end We'll always remember you the way you were one big lovable huggable pile of fur John Quealy Happy first bridge birthday Toppo My special girl.

  11. Hello fugees, i've been bodging about lately and not keeping up, i've had an hour of reading back on here, and can't go any further so..... to be taken as needed, Claire, thinking of you, and hope you have some viewings/offers soon, wishing you both all the best for your futures. phoebejo Ingipops, nice to see you back. I *think* i have bought all of Ben's new senior school uniform now, got the tie and blazer today, i just need to alter it all, and name it why can't he just fit clothes off the rail, it'd make my life a lot easier, He's just turned 11, and i've bought him 14-15 yo shirts, a 34" chest blazer, extra large boys trousers (next size is a mens) and a mens size 8 shoe how long till he stops growing? .....on the other hand, Tom isn't growing, school uniforms start at size 4-5 years, he's still wearing a 3yo size, 4 yo things bury him
  12. Thanks Sam, i'm hoping its just the heat with Alan too, its all a bit new and scarey and i'm not really sure what to expect etc when he had his heart attack it was during the night, so the kids were asleep, but yesterday they were playing outside, and were all a bit frightened by things, so i'm trying to make out its all ok to them, whilst not really knowing myself ouch Melp hope your toe stops throbbing soon
  13. hello tis too blimmin hot here, i bought the kids a big pool, and spent this afternoon wallowing in it to keep cool twas not a pretty sight, but by Dog was it nice! Alan was rushed off in an ambulance again yesterday afternoon, with another suspected heart attack, luckily it turned out to be a bad angina attack, so he was sent home after monitoring, he was fine again till this evening when the pains came back, he took his spray, and they've gone, but i've no idea if i should be worried, could this be the lead up to another, or is this normal with angina he has no idea, and doesn't seem to want to find out anything, i think its the manly head in the sand and it'll disappear ostrich thing, too scared to face up to whats happening, but it doesn't help me or the kids :/

  18. morning, safe journey thoughts going out to everyone travelling today, hope you all have a great day! Meg is a bit better this morning, thanks for your thoughts, she had some rice and chicken for breakfast, so we'll see what happens so far today we have had no puddles, and she slept through the night, so the starving her paid off, though she was not impressed with me for that
  19. we will not be able to make it now, Meg is poorly, she has a very dodgy stomach/bowl, which started during the night, and has just started being urinary incontinent as well, so we'll be at home taking things easy, and hopefully recovering. i've starved her all day, and have some brown rice and boiled chicken ready for tomorrow, i'm sure she would appreciate some good thoughts if there are some spare ones about. Have fun tomorrow, i'll be waiting patiently for piccys
  20. change of plan here, i was showing Emma the link to whats happening at the show, and eldest and youngest sons both said they wanted to come too.......... Alan looked to see what they were on about and said we may as well have a day out, so looks like a family outing from here but then again there are 3 days to go so minds may change
  21. i shall be bringing my female sprog...... eldest will no doubt be out and about socialising with mates, and youngest is getting in as much whinge practice as poss whenever we go anywhere, ready for when he is a man so i shall leave him at home with his dad
  22. we (myself, Meg monster, and probably one sprog) *might* all things going to plan be there. *if* we are, we would be available to lend a helping hand
  23. well done Godin i managed to gain weight 2 out of 3 weeks on weight watchers , so i'm having a rethink, and going to attempt the one where i don't have to do point counting. If i still manage to gain, then i'm giving it up as a bad joke, and going to resign myself to the fact i'm going to be a fat bloater for the rest of my days
