  9. Just pm'ing you back. Sorry for the late reply weve been away for a lil break We will be there come rain or shine will bring OH and Mich and hopefully a friend and her weimaraner
  10. We use it and its made a real difference with mich's teeth over the months! He usually gets carrots regularly to help take off the plaque. His back teeth have cleaned up well but his canines need extra help with a finger brush because he doesnt chew with them. Id say definitly worth a try over a couple of months
  11. Oh Sue Im so sorry Run free Hugo, you truly were a Gentleman dispite showing your mum up on occasion. You will be in many hearts for years to come. Were thinking of you here Sue & Vicky
  12. Oh blimey that'd be a bit too much of a squeeze Is it easier for people to change location or are there any other offers for lifts to help?
  13. Hmm how many dogs do you have between you and sizes I have a van. Will have 2x 36" crates in the back with Mich in one and 3 seats with friend in one. Not sure whether her dog will be in the other crate or on a harness on a seat so would have either 2 seats free with dogs on laps or 1 seat and 1 crate
  14. A friend of mine is hopefully going to be coming with us too and bringing her 7month old weimaraner
  15. You know kazz When I first saw this little guy was with you it hadnt even occured to me that you might let him go! Welcome home snoopy
  16. Yay, he says hes puttng it in his diary Chris and I will be there with Michigan, may or may not have his son with us but it will depend on his mum (its his birthday the day before so he may be all tuckered out) and might bring barney the yorkie with us but we will see nearer the time. Looking forward to it
  17. I 'think' we can make the 16th Will check with the OH this evening to make sure
  18. Mich is 16.8 yrs. That's 7.2 years younger than the average DogAge for his breed apparently but not suprising as everyone thinks hes still younger than he is. Think overally its a bit of a gimmick to get people in USA to provide emails to send them promotional info
  19. My little mouse Bud went to the Bridge last night to be with his hammy girlfirend Becks once again. Ive known it was coming, hes been looking much older these last few weeks and I think I just knew earlier in the week that it was almost time. He was a real pleasure to have here and Im very grateful to Sproggie for letting me home Bud and Becks. Becks left for the bridge last year and Bud and I became a lot closer, he had even started to teach my OH that small furies arent half as bad as he thought and Im so glad that he felt able to have a cuddle before Bud left us. I really have missed the little guy today, especially this morning because we often had a morning cuddle but I know he will be running free with Becks and washing her face snuggled up warm with her Be free little Bud
  20. Wow I cant believe its been 2 years either! Happy Gotcha Day Bear!
  21. Aww hes so lovely! I love that pic of him on his walkies, kind of reminded me of my Bridge Boy Harry, always just happy to be alive. How could anyone no longer want him, I want him
  22. Thanks everyone, it really is nice to share a couple of pics and our progress. Hopefully we will be seeing new and old faces at various shows, meets and events again this year Heres one I took this evening on our walk with my OH just after sunset
  23. We would have to travel either way so if we can make it we will. Were not available the 8th-10th March though
  24. What an awful photo. He is still a bugger to get concentrating when hes all excited to see people. I just use my home made liver cake these days
  25. Our first dog never had a crate and never needed one (we were blessed too ) When i took Mich on he had been kenneled for a year and a half and i said to myself that id never confine him into a crate Thanks to this site I read the positives about crates and bought one to try. Since day one Mich would rather be in his crate than anywhere else! He absolutely loves being in it! It really is his 'safe' place and he knows its his, it solved his anxiety about being left instantly. When we first brought him home he related us leaving to being shut in the kitchen unable to get out and he pooped and cried and scratched the kitchen door. After the crate arrived he was put in his crate with the crate door open so he was free to come and go from the crate into the kitchen and that was all he needed. To feel that he wasnt being confined. I also think crates are invaluable for the car, we tried hammocks and we tried seatbelts on the harness but you cant beat a crate for peace of mind to deter thiefs and god forbid, in the event of an accident or escape attempt near roads.
