morning all. I need to go and shovel cat poo and rabbit poo and my motivation seems to have stayed in bed when i got up

ive just finished a horribly busy day and have just happily signed off the days paperwork. Im starving but have to wait till 8pm when i go off for a cantonese with friends (including vikinggirl off here) Back shovelling cat and rabbit poo at 7.30am so i guess getting drunk isnt the best of ideas

lo. had a chaotic morning and not stopped. im in danger of falling asleep at my desk over my lunch hour and let the staff give me a kick when they come back in at 2pm Reading peoples posts over the last few days makes me realise how easy my life is which is rather humbling considering im always moaning but for what some of you are going through you have my utmost sympathy and respect

Just finished another days work and ive managed to hit my target of getting to post no 175 Tomorow is looking pretty horrendous with 14 animals coming into boarding, 7 going out and 6 coming into grooming. Looks like a quick hi and bye will be my 2 posts tomorrow

one of my citroens did this many years ago and it was electrical... the engine wasnt earthed properly and a little loose wire was swinging away and when it was re-attatched everything was fine again. The garage had the entire engine out and specialist citroen people from god knows where out as they were all baffled. It was totally ridiculous what a simple job it turned out to be after i had been off work for a week.

The same ruling applies when you stand in a pile of it on grass and slide a few feet while frantically waving your arms trying not to fall over

Got up to heavy rain but looked a bit white in places so i assume its snowed in the night and gone now. thank god. Short on staff this morning so very organised, up early, cleaned the cattery and did the rabbits and just about skidded back into my office for 8.30 as we opened. sam dont worry about posting my stuff. Id rather you enjoyed your time catching up on important stuff. I dont need the keyring till June anyway

thank you, though i have to admit our bath was a bit touch and go for a Dino when taking into account the amount of wriggling and jumping about while objecting to it Is he any better at baths yet?

Just had an interesting visit from an RSPCA inspector following up a phone call from a customer. He was concerned the kennel wasnt big enough, despite coming to visit first and commenting on how nice the kennels were, and he complained his dog smelled when he collected it. I pointed out to her that he had been in hospital, had no idea when he was collecting and each day we showered down the dog after walks but it was so filthy in the kennels we could only do so much to try and keep it clean. I also pointed out the dogs coat was so knotty and in such poor condition, had he not been in hospital i would have called her myself to get her to go see the dog as it looked like it had never been brushed in its life! He had forgotten to mention to her that he called unannounced and i had asked him to wait 20 mins so i could bath dog, having already asked him to let us know what day he would be coming so we could do a proper bath and blow dry. I had told him his dog was filthy in kennels, peed and sat in it etc so the dog smelled pretty whiffy. RSPCA officer was none too impressed at his omissions. She has also just walked round the kennels and said the size is fine and everywhere smelled nice and clean and was happy with the overall set up. interesting way to fill half an hour in an otherwise boring afternoon i suppose

morning. Im awake in body but im not sure what time my brain is going to catch up with me I feel an autopilot day looming. I have a trip to batleys to look forward to after lunch I will try and make an effort to improve my average of 2 posts a day in an attempt to become addicted before the summer

Morning. rather hectic start but then its half term so ive got dogs and cats coming and going from all angles. not quite in everyone elses league but its my post no 150

i feel more inclined to go and have a ciggie and have a proper cough, then come back in and get warm with a big mug of coffee

just to show how boring life is.... the most exciting part of the day was finally getting my drains and loo unblocked so now i can flush again. other than that... same s*** different day

morning. god im tired but had to be up for an alleged visit from a plumber at 8am. Im not holding my breath for a prompt arrival either. Still ploughing through last weeks bookings and getting them on the pc. so boring its untrue. Think id better make a coffee and get on with it

Ive just spent over 2 hours updating kennel programme. Was wibbling first thing coz it was well and truly broked and then some bloke rang telling me to get it to warrington and he would fix it. Dad forgot to mention he had rung this bloke so im sat wondering WTF and how did this strange bloke know i was in deep doo-doos. 29 booking forms later im sorry its working again. taking a break now to read what ive missed today before i start putting all of last weeks grooming info in the large box of maltesers i am eating is helping me to get through it

morning had to near drag myself out of bed this morning and am now sat bleary eyed at the pc trying to organise my morning. I got a quote from the people who wrote my kennels programme to come and fix it.... £320 + vat for half a day minimum. i need to change jobs and learn how to programme lotus notes obviously!

Hello people. Im back and im bliddy freezing and the staff tell me today is quite warm compared to the rest of the last week ive been gone. Ive come back to the following joys.. the programme that runs the kennels is playing silly beggars wont save bookings gulp.. if anyone understands lotus notes and can tell me what a #03:f3 error means in english i would be very gratefull my loo is blocked so i have to go arm myself with a plunger and try not to vomit whilst trying to unblock it. worst of all, my manager has been offered a great job with the dogs trust and is leaving me on sunday so i have to find a replacement full time kennel worker/manager. I get loads of applications for people wanting to work in kennels who write and tell me they adore dogs... but dont seem to adore the poo shovelling bit that comes with the job and leave after a few weeks. I have about 50 pages of rmf and about 10 full pages of refuge to catch up on so i could be gone sometime now ive said hello

Im nearly gone flower, up at 5am so i think i should be attempting to get some sleep soon. I cant sleep on a plane no matter how tired i am so at worst, tomorrow night i will be very tired as well as very pissed of course the depo bloody hurt... tell me when having a needle in your arse wouldnt hurt
