  2. Thanks ,thought perhaps some of you may like to know how he is doing after all the help you gave us raising funds for him.
  3. Dear Stevie & Pauline, I can tell you that Zippy and Sassi are both doing great; they are the best of friends and enjoy having a partner in crime. They get up to plenty of mischief between them and Mum's flower beds will never be the same again. Sassi was recently spaded and is back bouncing around like nothing happened; Zippy was very excited to see her return after a whole day without her pulling on his ears. Zippy had a bit of a makeover last week as he went to have a hair cut. He enjoyed his pampering and made some new friends at the groomers who thought he was the best tempered terrier they had ever met. Sassi could not understand where zippy had got to without her and did not recognize him at first with his new hair do. You will be happy to know that they adore each other and are virtually inseparable, at this very moment they are playing in the hall. When they are not playing they are usually out on a walk, and Sassi motors along pulling on Zips lead to make him go faster. She is about the same height as Zip now with a long body and legs. She can easily take Zip on and us humans, she is quite the noisy girl now and has a bark or squeak for all occasions. Like all women she is a bit of a chatter box. She has never quite grown into her giant brown eyes, or her ears which seem to have a mind of their own. She is small but perfectly formed and in proportion, everywhere we go people say how pretty she is. Zippy pretends he does not worry about Sassi with his laid back attitude but when she is sleeping he gives her a motherly wash with his giant tongue. We really think Zippy has benefited from her company as his legs have never been so able. I will be sure to get some pictures sorted as soon as possible so you can see what a pair they have become. Thank-you for my two bestest friends. Becky. xxx (Lots of licks from ZippyZilla and Tiny Sas)

  5. Last time I saw Maggi she looking so sad and forlorn after just having her pre med Next time she was upside down having all her bits removed Yuk was not quiet what I was expecting after popping over to the chippie whilst at vets. Don't panic no photo She has now been in her new foster home for 4 days so went to see her and her pal Demi who is staying with her for a week to keep her company. She is an angel. Was hard to get pics as she is just a bundle of fun that doesn't stay still wiggeling and waggeling all over the place. 11. Here I sit sad, cold and alone Xmas has passed and am shut out of my home Left outside I to scared to moan I have none of my toys not even my bone. The windows still shine the tree is still bright Yet I sit outside in the cold dark night Could someone tell me what I did wrong? I thought I was loved, that I belonged Last week I was loved and had so much fuss Now everything I do only brings a cuss. A cold icy wind is starting to blow Yet from inside I can see the new years glow I miss my mum and I miss my dad Even my brother who was a naughty lad. My tummy rumbles and I feel ill I can see the cat sitting warm on the sill I would run away but my legs are too weak Where would I go for help to seek? So I lay down to sleep on the cold wet floor And hope some will come and open the door. I drift in out of a feverish sleep So ill am I now that I can’t even weep. Then suddenly I feel all warm and it’s bright There are fields of green and the sun shines bright At Rainbow Bridge I have safely arrived At mans own hand I didn’t survive All is well and I am loved, but sadly I shown from up above That down below hundreds of others are not loved. A caring race, a compassionate one The human race is the top one!! And yet you still can turn a blind eye And ignore bad things letting them wash you by So please as tonight you toast this New Year in Glasses full and big wide grins Make a pledge to help us smile Make our lives like yours … WORTH WHILE Thank you everyone for all your support and kindness in 2007.

    Hello

and even that is in doubt sometimes Hi and welcome to the insane asylum
  13. Thought you might like to see a couple of pics of these viscous under dogs. As you can see they are something to be scared of so terrifying they wet themselves with fear when you go near them or pick them up.They have had to be wormed 3 days in a row as thats all that is coming out of them and of course are constantly hungry. They are now having malaseb baths daily to help counteract their mange. My heart breaks when I think what state the others must be in and dread to think of the homes they were sold to. The little girl ( darker one) is the worst bless her.Am working with them slowly and Uncle Muzi has taken them under his wing Have no names yet so any suggestions would be welcome. Not Holly for the little girl though as have had four Holly's this month.Think it maybe to do with Xmas
  14. Had a message Tuesday from a lady that had a litter of 5 puppies that she needed homed by today as she was going away for Xmas. She had been trying to sell them but had no joy would we buy them off her.Tried to call her back no one home and no answer phone.Last night 5pm she called me back had two pups left sold the other three for £250 would we take the last one there and then so of course said yes but told her we did not pay for rescues. Arranged for them to go to a foster home near overnight till they could bring them to me today. Poor little mites arrived and are 12 weeks old, not vaccinated at all, riddled with worms have demadtic magnge, not been socilaised,p** themselves when you pick them up or go near but are not to scared to let you know what they think of you. I feel for the other three she sold and have fingers double crossed they are in good homes and been taken to a vet. These little ones are pure Staffies. At least we can now work with our two god knows what will happen to the others.
  15. So sorry to hear of your sad news.

Well this little one is eating well now and even lifting his head to watch what is going on around him. He loves having his Reiki healing and has even tired to wag his tail another good sign. He can stand to have a wee if supported under his tummy and is trying to get up and move on his own but sadly not got the strength to do so at the moment. He ates being in the crate and just wants to lay on the bed near me bless him.So thats all little little improvement.Tomorrow is the dreaded day we go back to vets and sadly from there after scans will have to decide what is going to happen with this little one so please all keep your fingers x for him. Here is last night having his healing Having a good sleep afterwards

    So Sad

Thankyou all for your kind messages. It was a long stressfull night but at 4am we had a little turn for the better and Buddy actually ate something all be it a teaspoon of chicken and is a little perkier today. This afternoon he had an hour of Reiki healing and is now going to have it daily.Spoke with vets today and as he has made a little progress we are going to give the new meds chance to get into his system and see how he goes over next couple of days.We still have along way to go in the next few days but am feeling a bit more positive for him today and that must help him.

    So Sad

Thank you for all your kind words and healing thoughts. We are both having a really bad day today ( and that makes me feel really selfish) poor little Buddy has taken a turn for the worse this afternoon.Have spoken with James (our vet) and we have changed his medication to see if it helps. We have decided that we should give him a few days on new meds and see how he responds instead of waitng two weeks and if he gets any worse tonight then James will come out and we will let this little one go to rest.Have to say I feel like s**t and a total failure at moment and just don't know what to do for the best.Am hoping like us he is just having a bad day but it is heartbreaking to see and thought I had seen it all and could cope with anything that was thrown at me but this little one is tearing me apart and thats not helping him either and still he manages to kiss me when we lay on the sofa together. At the moment all I want is to get hold of the b*****d that did this to him.
  20. Sadly a member from another forum I am on has just lost puppy to parvo. So please spread the word that there is a problem outbreak of Parvo in the Corse Lawn area of Gloucester.

    So Sad

Well here to start with this poor little one.He has been to hell and back already.Buddy arrived in to our care after being dumped in a box with his siblings. He arrived here with a wobble on him and not being able to walk properly with out falling over.He had a quick health check we decided to see how he went with some crate rest and tlc and thought he had damaged his back legs some how and he has some muscle wastage. He has probs going to the loo and a very distended tummy which we thought could be worms as they were all full of them.He didn't have a good night and I was not happy with him so took back to vets as an emergancy today and had him x-ray'd.If I had not seen them with my own eyes I would not have believed it.This little lad has been hit hard with something or dropped when young from a height and has a broken back and somehow has survived it. The prognosis at present for him is not looking good.He is on pain relief and anti biotics and anti inflammetry tabs and of course lots of crate rest and little exercise. We are taking it day by day at the present and if all goes well he will have further x rays in two weeks so we can see more when swelling goes down and then it will all depend on how the bones are doing as to the decision we make.In the meantime this little lad is happy eating ok, has never seen to be in pain when he moves and adores being cuddled .He even wants to play all be it laying down or leaning against Muzi, so we have to give him a chance. Please keep this little lad in your thoughts and if any one does healing please do some for him. Thanks :x
  22. Had this today in a mail ( along with a couple of dirty jokes none of which I understood of course ) So many bits of it rang so true.
