Hello Amanda I've had an exciting night....the joys of ASDA Well done Rick...I handed a stray into Wallasey Police station once....kennel was very "basic"

Back from interview....went well....will find out verdict in about 2 weeks Also have toilet and new bathroom floor......chippy tea tonight so all's well in my little world to all who need one

Got my 2nd interview for new job at 2.30....at the mo I have no loo as bathroom floor is being replaced...talk about good timing...I'm not stressed at all......honest Mandy

Good one! Just in case you are not joking...... Shrove Tuesday is to eat up all the rich food (ie pancakes) in preparation for the beginning of Lent. Easter is the celebration of the end of Lent (without going into Christian details!!)

Bugger......a power struggle appears to be starting in my house Elmo (bit of a wuss generally) was very brave when Axel(GSD) arrived and seemed to be quite happy as Axel was a wuss too! Now Axel has decided not to be a wuss anymore and Elmo is terrified Elmo is hiding under the dining table, and is even acting scared of me and I don't know what to do They are both lovely and playful(usually) and I hate to see Elmo scared......I think Axel is just being a bit bolshie and doesn't mean any harm, but Elmo doesn't seem to agree

Morning all.....need to get dressed....son at rugby at 10.00.....think i'll come home when I've dropped him off as its very cold, and I'm hoping (vainly I think) that my builder will arrive as promised and finish off my kitchen! Mandy

Well.......I'm off work today (don't work Fridays) and I'm bored already Had 2 coffees already (not lattes though...just instants ) Need to get ready as I have an ENT appointment at about 10....and loads to sort out for my lovely new kitchen.....and shopping to do as I have a lovely new fridge and freezer that are looking decidedly empty! Going to pick up my first item from freecycle later....its a PC for Adam, from a chap who took my old combi microwave the other day........I think I like freecycle!!

LOL I don't know why but my 12 yr old son thinks the funniest word of all is.........bladder :P .....it makes me laugh now as I can see his reaction.....shame really as I work in a hospital and its in my daily vocabulary!!!!
