  1. Nougatti It must have been bad, mine was done without an anesthetic and i didn't feel a thing. At least its done now. Dog Rescue Lover - i think i'd feel the same but prehaps he just wants to try and make sure helping you is actually helping you, if you see what i mean.
  2. Dont be daft I would've said the same as you - i just measure it out with the bottle and dont really think about it.
  3. I'm dizzy too but happen to have a leaflet in my handbag next to me
  4. Jacky, i give Synflex to Dylan on his food and he eats it no problem, he can be really really fussy too. I tasted it first and its quite sweet tasting.
  5. I'm so shocked, really can't believe it, who'd of thought it! Welcome home Snoopy Fingers and toes crossed for you Marion It is still -3 here. Brrrrrr
  6. Morning all. So sad to read of Bow's passing Sending lots of don't be poorly thoughts to Kittykat and lots of get better thoughts to Billy Tis snowing here
  7. I would've been upset too Kazz. Is she usually a bit tactless? My first impression was that some old people tend to say what they think without worrying about how it comes across. If she has cats then she should understand the bond between pet and owner. Perhaps next time you speak to her you could tell her it upset you for her to talk about Max in that way?
  8. Billy, hope you're feeling better soon Kazz The good news is that the dog trying to eat Dylan on Friday night doesn't seem to have affected him or set him back in anyway. The bad news is that it seems to have really bothered Khyra We saw a lovely choccie lab that we know yesterday and Khyra had a little play with him then mooched off to sniff some bushes. Dylan barked at the lab as he always does (he loves humping this dog so he's not allowed near enough to do so and barks instead) and as soon as he barked Khyra appeared full pelt and flung herself at the lab barking. I'm sure we'll be able to sort it but i'm sick of my dogs ending up with issues cos of other peoples failure to control their dogs
  9. Walk was ok, we didin't see anyone else so no idea if its set him back. He did seem very relaxed though and not tense or watchful so hopefully no lasting damage. He has had a chicken wing breakfast and is now sprawled out on my windowsill sunbathing
  10. Khyra and i have finally got up, Dylan got up for a wee and has gone back to bed. I am waiting for my mum to arrive so i can walk the dogs, i a m too scared to go on my own. Last nigt when we were walking a dog appeared and was trying to attack Dylan After everything thats happened before he did well and kept following me to get out of the way but it carried on following him and grabbing his neck. I think it went for Dylan cos he was the biggest (there were 6 dogs that were walking) and the only one on lead. It was kaos. my mum's choccie lab was trying to chase it off, Khyra was running and barking at it and Dylan's best doggie friend Regis the GSD was jumping inbetween everytime it bit Dylan but it wouldn't give up. No owner in sight and this went on for ages until Dylan finally retaliated and bit its ear Mum's just called so taking the dogs out for a short walk as i'm worried it will of undone all Dylan's rehabilitation . Be back soon
  11. Glad Pumpkin is feeling better. Khyra is supposed to be taking it a bit easy after having very large thorn removed from her pad yesterday. Insead she is celebrating by twirling round and round Dylan's colitis has flared up badly he is refusing to eat anything

  13. Just had an internal email (i work for a firm of accountants) with the following in. Does anyone think its worth starting a thread on so any charities are aware (if not already)????:
  14. How awful. girls can be so spiteful and some never seem to grow out of it either. I was very lucky as i went from primary school through to 6th form with the same people so we didn't have any of that going on. I hope it can be sorted out somehow Khyra had a very large thorn lodged in her pad. It was my very favourite vet tonight so i was very happy. He gave her a local anesthetic first and an AB jab. He then insisted i took the thorn out into the waiting room to show my mum and the nurses I am off to have a bath and get ready for my meal out with OH. I hope he appreciates it between tonight and the vets i've no money left now Have a lovely evening everyone
  15. I luff you Marion I love MrsTegs cooking escapades too. Am away to the vets with the limping Khyra. See you ladle
