  1. I just checked on Doglost, and Molly has been found! She made her way back to their old house! It's a bit late to phone now, so I will phone tomorrow and ask if they have any vets bills to pay.
  2. Molly is now on Doglost: http://www.doglost.co.uk/forum.asp?ID=9489
  3. Molly was last seen in Cuerden Valley Park, near Preston, Lancashire, about 11:30am on Thursday 3rd May. She is a small Jack Russell Terrier, about 3 years old, mostly white, but with black and tan markings. She also has a tail. She wasn't wearing a collar, but she is microchipped. She had just been attacked by my dog, so she may be wounded. We didn't see any blood, but she was very scared. We've searched the park for a few hours, and the park wardens and council dog wardens have been notified, and even came to help look. Molly may have run off in the local area as she was so scared. Her owner is distraught, and I am trying to help in any way I can. If you see Molly, please contact me. I am working on getting a picture.
  4. Hi All....I'm looking for someone fairly local (within Lancashire, or close enough) to look after my Mums Yorkie for a couple of weeks this year. He is 11 years old, castrated, and doesn't do very well in Kennels - he looses a lot of weight. He is very people orientated, and gets on well with other dogs, he just wants to be sat on someones knee all the time! Thats why I don't think he does well in kennels. He still likes walks - short or long! He can be left on his own if needed, for quite a few hours, but occasionally he does wee inside at night, but if theres paper down, he'll try and get there in time! We're willing to pay, and provide his food. I can't have him at my house, as him and Teagan (my dog) don't get on inside (thats down to Teagan, not him) and I can't separate them. If anyone on here is willing, or knows anyone in/near Lancashire, please give me a shout!
  5. The vet said hopefully it's just an abscess, and has given us antibiotics for a week. The blood coming out of it was a little infected, and I have to bathe her foot in quite warm salt water. She said to go back if it doesn't clear up, or if it goes away and comes back. She loved it at the vets - as usual! Got stroked from everyone there! There was another Bullmastiff girly, but grumpy as she doesn't like the vets! A schoolgirl and her Mum stroked Teagan and asked questions, and another couple of people stroked her too, and of course - she jumped up on the reception counter and got stroked from vet nurses! I asked the vet if she thought Teagan looked in good shape, and she said she looks excellent. She said her temperament is second to none, her coat is shiny, she has plenty of loose skin, is nice and lean, and has great muscles on her back legs It makes me really proud when the vet says these things!
  6. Thanks for the thoughts everyone. We are off to the vets this afternoon. The lump has gotten a bit bigger - and also split open a bit I didn't take her for a walk yesterday or today, to rest it, so I know she hasn't walked on it and aggravated it.
  7. Yes, there are deffinately worse things, but she's had 2 removed from her feet already, aswell as another major op on another leg at the same time. And to keep having operations isn't great for her She's not even 3 yet.
  8. It's possible I suppose...but it looks just like the other histiocytomas she's had What Homeopathy can be used for foreign bodies? It's worth a try!
  9. Thankyou everyone. But unfortunately it looks bigger today Still keeping my fingers crossed!
  10. Well, a few days ago I noticed a 'spot' on Teagan, my Bullmastiffs foot. I checked it again today, and it has grown, and looks suspiciously like the other Histiocytomas she had on her feet Typical, just what we DON'T need. She has previously had 2 of these on her other feet, and had to have them removed, as they started to rub on the ground and get sore. Not only does she seem prone to these, she has HD and arthritis Please send healing thoughts to Teagan. I will see how it changed over the next week, and then see about some antibiotics if it doesn't go down. Another op is the last thing she needs
  11. My Bullmastiff is nearly 3, and when she was 1, she was diagnosed with extreme Hip Dysplasia, along with elbow dysplasia, and arthritis. As of yet, she's not touched any medication I have her on daily doses of Syn-flex, Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Omega 3 oils. I also encourage her to swim whenever we go to the park, and when I can afford it, she goes for Hydrotherapy (she doesn't really like it - she prefers swimming in the river!) We saw an Orthopaedic Specialist at the time, who told me to continue doing what I was doing, not to stop her exercise (as in - do what she wants, and she never wants to stop!).

Teagans operation is today, following a check-up at the vets to see if her chest infection has gone. Vets appointment at 9:10am. Please send lots of healing wishes to my baby, she has been through so much, and she is still such a happy dog!
