I walked for 3 and a half hours this morning, along back lanes, through a byway, down the cliffs to a broad, then along the beach, through the dunes, along the footpath and then back along back lanes. WHo said that sighthounds are lazy, 5 dogs 10 and over and they ran and scooted about, jogged along back roads etc, it's us and Benj who who were knackered. 3 collies flew at us from a farm and my lot woofed but didn't go bannanas which is good. I rarely go on to the beach where I live these days it's full of numpties with off lead dogs with no manners

I know Jules, she really brings a ump to our throats when we see her running about, she has come farther than we ever thought possible.

Just going through the camera and found a picture of my son on his way out to a 70's night last week, and I thought bloody hell, where has all the time gone, this is a man. Really shocked me and made me feel terribly old. Plus he looked like a cross between John Cooper Clark and some one out of Boogy Nights

Large ex police riot van, provides superb transport, with a sectioned off back with extractor fan, air con, insulation, heaters etc, they have loads of dog beds , two sliding doors and back doors. I had a friend whose dogs were trapped in a car after an accident in crates. I wanted a lot of doors so we could get them out easily in the event of any accident

Another soft touch, we have claude and charlie our pigeons, who will only eat black sunflower seeds and peck at the kitchen velux to request food. Plus Ivan the crow who also likes homecooked dog food, and finds flying hard after he has had a gorging session
