  1. Thankyou xx The problems are with his ears and feet mainly, They are full of manky smelly stuff, and the flesh part is all scabby and yellow. It smells so so bad. The vet was nearly sick last time we went. Its also between his toes, and they bleed when he goes on walks. The tips of hhis ears are all scabby and crusty, and he's got a bad head shake. He's had numerous amounts of steroids, antibiotics, anti-inflamatories, cream, lotions, drops, scrubs, powder, and nothing has touched it. Then yesterday i noticed a lump under his chin, which is identical to the last one he had, and it turned out to be cancer. I Love him to pieces, i really do. But how much more do i do, before having to admit he's suffering. Im so heartbroken, he's my best friend and we've been through thick and thin together. I'm Gutted :0(
  2. Hi all, i really need some help. Chance has been poorly for about the last year, he's having really bad problems with his health, and is deteriorating rather quickly. I think his cancer may have also come back again. He is at the vets on Monday afternoon and i have to be honest, the time is near when i have to say goodbye. he is suffering and i cannot be selfish any longer by prolonging his suffering. I need to know how much it will cost me to have him euthanised and cremated. I know this may sound like a really heartless post, but i have to be prepared. I am absolutely devestated that i am having to make this decision already and he is only 5 1/2 yrs old, its breaking my heart. any one know of the costs involved? Thankyou in advance

  6. ive applied for this too, keeping my fingers crossed as OH's tax code for that year was L. He didnt move in with me till the january 03 though so not sure if we'll qualify for the full amount.
  7. Claz could you help me on something please...................someone i was talking to the other day said that if you "need" to use alot of gas or electricity due to a disability i.e arthiritis, you can go on a special plan with your supplier, something like the water people do aquacare plan for ppl on certain benefits or have certain disbailitites requiring you to use more water. Is this correct?? I pay £60 a month gas and £30 for electricity. No idea what my last bill. I seem to remember we were about equal to the payments we were making
  8. Thanks Cycas, i hope no-one thought i was implying they were ripping ppl off, i was genuinely interested in the costs involved etc. I started a course in website running but i personally found it a bit hard at that time (i was 18 with 2 kids) but im still interested in that sort of thing.
  9. Excellent post snow, thankyou for that. Unfortunately its not something im looking into doing myself. ( i dont want to get too specific as this is not a post about slagging off another place, im just interested in it all and obviously got too much time on my hands LOL) There is somewhere else that has decided to start charging members to use its community. Its a big board with thousands of members, has advertising all over it which are clicky advertisements, and are wanting new members to pay upto £50 each to sign up. I was just intrigued as to how much a Very large board would cost to run and how much revenue would be made form advertisements. Youve answered perfectly snow, and i thank you very much for taking the time also to Cycas for taking the time to reply x
  10. Hi all, Hoping someone may be able to help me and give some approx figures. If you were to run a forum, and you had advertisements all over the boards, how much revenue would the adverts make you?? and also, how much does it cost to host a board/website. Thankyou in advance, will pop back later when ive done the school run etc etc
  11. So very sorry to hear of your loss

I went out this morning to feed my buns and i found my frenchie, Honey, Dead. Im absolutely gutted, and am a mess. My two girls aged 10 and 5 are gutted too, they loved her so much and she would play with them like a little dog. I miss her so much already and just cant stop crying
  14. He's changing provider. He's going from 02 to Virgin. As the number off the old sim whihc is on 02 pAYG is being transferred to the new sim which is the contract with virgin This is what wories me, so thought i'd ask here first
  15. This might sound strange, but we want them to cost us! He has about £9 of credit on his phone which he has to use up before the 2nd Jan, as he is going from PAYG to Contract. Ive googled Ringtones, but most of them say FREE ringtones, and im dubious as to wether they are scam pages etc etc.
  16. Hi all, I bought my OH a new phone for christmas which is on a contract. His old mobile sim which is on PAYG has got quite a bit of credit left over. But we are switching the number to the new provider, so he wants to use the credit up and has decided he wants to download ringtones which i presume will use up his credit. The thing is a havent got a clue where to start. Any one help?? Any reputable sites you can recommend and also tell me how to go about doing it. any help very much appreciated Thankyou xx
