  1. Well, I take 2 of my lot to agility/obedience and they love it. Harlequin Agility is hosting an EMDAC show in September and I have just entered Annie (Lurcher) and Pheobe (Yorkie) for it - OMG What have I let myself in for. We are complete novices and I'm so nervous, but looking forward to it as well - just hope they both get round (Pheobe has a habit of running past jumps and then jumping them the wrong way on the way back! ) Annie loves it all, but has way too good a jump and usually clears the A frame in 2 bounds - so much for contacts I can see us getting disqualified after 2 or 3 jumps
  2. So sorry you had to make this decision, I'm sure it wasn't an easy one Run free Swirly boy
  3. Oh Claire, I have only just seen this. I am so sorry - I know how much the batty old girl meant to you both. She had a wonderful 18 months with you - she couldn't have wished for better Sleep tight beautiful Donna Kebab and have a riot at the Bridge

  5. So sorry You must be devastated. Run free at the bridge little Tango
  6. Thats great that he loves it Richard. I have been doing obedience with Annie Lurcher (new girl) and just to make things a bit more interesting at the end of a class, we have started to do a bit of agility. Shes getting a lot better on the waits and jumps, but was very nervous of the collapsible tunnel. After a couple of attempts (and Gill the trainer crawling through it to encourage Annie ) she was coming through it fairly carefully She was absolutely shattered by the end of it though.
  7. Only just started doing Agility with Pheobe, my Yorkie. Shes 10 years old and loves it. Last week was her third week at it and we had a mini course to do with 9 jumps, the A frame and a collapsable tunnel. She was the only one to do a clear round I was so proud of her
  8. So very sorry for your loss Age. Thinking of you Run free and strong at the Bridge Beauty
  9. Hi Kazz, When we went in October the whole garden was very secure. The only bit I was slightly worried about was where the pond was. There was tall netting and a really big drop to the public footpath, but that was the only area I thought one of mine would have a go at. They didn't thankfully, so it wasn't a problem. The rest of the garden was enclosed by a 6 ft fence all the way around apart from a metal gate at the side (as long as you made sure you had put the latch down properly), which was secure and a double metal gate to the other side The fence is as follows: We had a greyhound, lurcher and 2 terriers with us and none of them got out (although they were very interested in the cats that were roaming around outside in the open area)
  10. I'm so sorry for your loss :Group_Hug_Emoticon: Millie must have been in seventh heaven when she went home with you. Well done for caring. Sleep tight Millie and run free at the bridge

  13. We visited this place at the beginning of October and Carol and Trevor were so nice and friendly, we immediately felt at home. The dogs loved it, as it was like home from home. The fields and beaches were fantastic places for our girls and we will definitely be going back there. Link to their website is: Little Dumpledale
