  2. i don't see what wrong with popping in every now and then its a nice way of letting off steam and having a chill during the day. herself is currently face down in her brekkie bowl, in a min i will get a face looking at me to say lovely brekkie (licking lips of course) then now i know where you are i can sleep. 5 mins later i am snoring. is it wrong to be this dog obsessed?

  6. coo thanks! i will probably get hubby to make some as i am a terrible cook, i can't even boil egg's and have a habit of burning things under the grill. she has turned her nose up at fish before would it be okay to change it to chicken you think? RMF i am in a really happy mood yet everyone else seems down. its weird usually i am the one feeling crappy.
  7. any instructions for making such things?
  8. james wellbeloved turkey and rice. its in the ball as i am trying to teach her about toys. i reckon she left about half of what i put in. they recommend 180g per day which looks massive so i cut it down to 150 then split it in half so she could eat twice a day. it still looked a mssive amount. she isnt overweight the vet said she is just on the border of what she should be, so she could go over if i wasnt careful.
  9. mornin all, herself didnt eat all her tea last night, she had it in her treat ball. she ate what she could reach and left the rest. not gettign the point yet but i will persevere. i actually weighed out her dinner last night and i was shocked, it looked way to much for her and the vets even told me she was borderline podgy. i dunno those instructions on the side never make sense. oh yeah since she didnt eat all her tea should i tip it out of the treat ball into her bowl or just leave it?

i will try and answer all the questions re the offlead there isnt really anywhere close that i could take her off the lead, also i wouldnt dare let her offlead close to a road and since i got the extendable i make sure she is on very short when we get to a road. i put her treat ball with her dinner in her crate last night and it appears to be empty, it is at the back of her crate atm and i havent crawled in to get it. she doesnt really have anyone to learn from except a EXTREMELY nutty black lab pup who bombs about and has been known to jump right over her even knocking her flying. she doent seem scared of him in fact she just ignores him and carries on sniffing about. in fact when out on walks if we meet anyone else even walking there own dogs she would much rather go up to the human than the dog. considering what i have been told i thought that was rather odd as i would have thought she would be more comfortable with other dogs, but no its humans she goes to everytime. end of the day she is a happy little thing and obviously loves her mum bless her i will try and catch a video running but its hard as she does it so rarely.

there are times i think i will never understand that dog, i even tried weaving around so the lead was extended but she still stayed close to me, i not sure weather i should be happy because she wouldnt go far from me or dissapointed cause she didnt get the idea to run free. apart from her usual stunt of trying to run across the road to get to home. oh and hubby has the camera on his phone, i will try and get piccies of her running when she does her loony tooning round the garden. your hubby looks almost as happy as the cav do you go on the cavalier forum?

Peaches has start to show evidence of wanting to run. i don't have the courage nor to be honest the security away from a busy road to let her off lead. i just bought a extendable lead which i am going to put on her when we get to the field. i can't wait to see if she starts to run, she is so cute, as i call it, going tongues and tail!
  19. you go girl!! yay for forceful women.
