  1. I haven't been on for a while and came straight to this thread....what brilliant brilliant news . Yep, I agree, hope they join the failed fosterers club! Jo xx
  2. Any news for poor Sheena? I wish I could help, but can't unfortunately. She looks so sad bless her.... Jo xx
  3. Oh God how terrible for you....you poor thing. As I'm new here I obviously don't know anything about your lovely boys, but I quite imagine that both dogs are probably asleep by now whilst you're worrying yourself to death. Everything crossed that they will be allowed home tomorrow morning. Easy for me to say but please don't beat yourself up too badly, accidents happen don't they, and I'm sure if you could turn the clock back you would. Take care Jo xx P.S. My rescue bullie is terrified of going to the vets and has unfortunately had more than her fair share of visits and admissions in the 2 years since we've had her. She is totally focused on me and absolutely hates it when I have had to leave her there - although all the vet nurses and vets are lovely. I have always tried to make sure she has a piece of my clothing with her to comfort her. I know it's hard to think of everything in an emergency but perhaps you could sit on a couple of T-shirts (for instance) in your car so you would have them to hand whenever necessary.
  4. What about this event Kelly....looks quite a good day and you never know they might even hold the 2009 one in aid of the Oldies Club . (Actually, I can't see which doggy charities this year's show is in aid of so you might be lucky LOL!). Woofers, Hounds and Mutts Show - 14 Sept 08 Under the 'Exhibitors' tab on the website it says... "If you wish to have a stall this year, please contact Natalie at [email protected] for more information." Jo xx
  5. Hi Kelly Thanks for your nice reply . Will definitely keep my eyes peeled for any events etc for you in my area (north Norfolk coast - lots of retired people here who would be perfect for one of your babes ). Plus I also get sent Dog World by a very kind friend every week so will scan that for you too - unless you get that already? Jo xx
  6. Hi Peachy I'm afraid I can't be much use to you as I have a 20 month old son who would not do well behind a stall (well he would perhaps enjoy it but it would be a nightmare for me LOL), even though I would love to have helped you. I often look at the Oldies website and think what a brilliant and worthwhile job you all do. Best of luck in your new role, perhaps in a few years time I can get back to you LOL! Jo xx
