  5. wishing swirly merly peace in the future..and a stress free passing..... hoping everyone concerned will be able to hold onto his joy at playing with the squiggs dogs, his favouite foods...and remember that the fear they have seen-he will never know again... thinking of you all fee
  6. i have worked obediance competetively-now as i own hounds-i dont but most judges in the lower classes want you to enjoy it-and come back-otherwise the sport will die. i stewarded last weekend for beginners-and i like to think that everyone had a good time-and as for those dogs that were playing about-as the judge/steward you can always find something positive to say from a lovely present, to he was watching the dumbell so intently! i am amazed that someone was shown the diagram-thats not right-there should be a steward to give the person oral commands-when to turn, stop, begin & end the exercise. fee
  7. i love my OH-hes not everyones cup of tea-in fact hes a funny bugger....being a big broken nosed glaswegian tends to make people make assumptions about him But he took over sleeping on the sofa to look after Moo at about 2 this morning-he fed Moo some soup and then found a card and wrote this in it "our darling minnie is back with us. she has had a cuddle and some chicken soup. Just realising how much i love the doggies-and more so you-love g". i woke up to find that next to me...... hes a little sweetie really.. fee
  8. i am sleeping downstairs with moo-so am sorting out the sofa as bed-oh the joy. moo had a small piece of chicken ( beautifully roasted with herbs, and sea salt) for her tea-i will offer her a bit more before we retire. i am leaving the back door open in case she needs to use the facilities-OH has offered to do the 1-5 am shift! but as he has an eye infection and can see bugger all-i have given him the evening off! hope that carpet cleaning stuff removes blood...as i have a sort of ink blot pattern on the carpet.... fee

  16. i spent most of today stewarding an obediance comp. some lovely dog-i was very taken by an enormous poodle who totally did his own thing! some nice border collies-but why in gods name do they feel the need to train their dogs to have their faces pinned to the owners thigh gazing at them-it is not in the rule books-and is damned silly....and it gives the owners a funny walk! fee

  18. michaels trip to the vet went OK-lump appears to be a small fatty lump. But Vet reckons he can see a slight milking of his eyes-cataracts starting.....not unusual at his age-but other then that in A1 condition. makes you suddenly aware they are getting older..... .. dogs are in kennels for the week of The Plumber-and we have booked a nile cruise for that week at less then half price-Woo Hoo. at least i will be able to wash!! off to bed now..sleep well everyone fee
  19. several RMF in 1 go. 1. i was hit in the ca today-i was stationary, chap in front wanted the other lane-so decided to reverse...and Bang straight into me. deep joy....no major damage-and he did apologise-but even so.... 2. there is no stop c*** in this house-according to neighbour...you have to get the water board to sort it out from the road-so thats something to tell the plumber. the current plumbing was undertaken by a muppet with a sense of humour.... 3. plumber is booked-along with the asbestos removal men-but now need to get dogs into kennels for the week in July-i am ringing a local kennel ( family friends) after 6 tonight and am quietly praying they can squeeze my 2 in-otherwise i dont know what i am going to do..... fee
