  1. Good shot of the dog licking the woman's face with growling played over the top...
  2. They were torn between "Dave" or "Moose". His original name was Oakley but I think Dave suits his personality more!
  3. Lunatics is exactly the right word! Yep, the Viz is called Amber, I think she's about 18 months. She's absolutely gorgeous, cost a bundle though so I gather....
  4. Love the PJs! Can I ask where you got them?
  5. Thanks everyone! They're coming again on Weds... it's nice for our dogs to get some socialisation with non-family dogs, we don't really meet many other pooches round here. And the ones we do seem to be agressive, or the owners have a problem with Ria for some reason in which case I'd guess they'll have a problem with Roxy too. But Connie (the collie cross) has improved loads around dogs since we've been going out with them.
  6. Yep and hopefully tired after that! :laughingsmiley:
  7. Just some pictures from todays walk with Amber (the Visla ) and Dave the Weimeraner. Dave's mum adopted him from the Dogs Trust where I work on the same day as I took Roxy... this is the first time Amber met Roxy, and the first time Dave met any of them so luckily they all got on! I think anyone seeing these six hooligans running across the fileds probably left asap. A pile of dogs. Where does one end and the other begin? Follow the leader... ...then back the other way. Hehe. Roxy trying to run. Actually she's deceptively fast... Amber, Roxy and Dave Roxy recovers back in the garden. Wilbur gets some luvs from Amber.
  8. He was better again today, he seems to be improving daily with his new meds. We went for a walk with our doggy walking pals (a Visla and a Weim) and he actually felt well enough to play with them. Thanks everyone for your comments.
  9. Hi, nice to see another Staffie lover! Must see pics of them!
  10. Aw, poor Cherry. She should be fine, Wilbur had a very similar op to remove some lumps, he was a bit groggy for a while but no harm done. Hugs from me and my lot.
  11. He was a little better today, still limping towards the end but not as bad as yesterday. So hopefully that means the metacam has started having an effect.
  12. I'm going tomorrow, will keep an eye out just in case.
  13. Here we go, this is Roxy relaxing in the sitting room. Unfortunately it was on my phone camera again so the quality is awful. Funny how neither of them are supposed to be allowed on the furniture... Looks like Roxy and Ria have become partners in crime! Ria was desperately trying to get Roxy to play today, headbutting her and rolling around, then running off. Roxy tried her best but she's just not fast enough!
  14. Hehe. I think you could be right. She also just ran headfirst into a chair in her rush to get fed, then she came into the sitting room ans somehow (not such an invalid as she makes out) managed to jump up onto the sofa with Ria (who's not supposed to be there either). I took some photos on my phone I'm just going to upload them.
  15. Sounds to me like you're doing the best thing for Bob, if he is unhappy where you are it's got to be the kindest thing to rehome him.
  16. She's just done it again, came running into the kitchen with both legs stuck up inside there, kind of fell on her face and rolled across the floor. In the process of shortening the sleeves (a lot) to suit her short legs right now. Well, we can't have Staffie's rolling around all over the place, could cause an accident!
  17. I know, we've got a proper little pack now. And I didn't expect it but I think Roxy has kind of become top dog! She hasn't had to be agressive about it but she does what she wants and the other dogs let her do it...
  18. Really? Hmm, maybe photobucket's playing up. Here try this, they're at the end of the album (click on the to veiw) - Roxy Album There's always more pictures. It's just a matter of whether people can handle anymore of Roxy!
  19. Thanks everyone. He had his second dose of metacam last night so I'm hoping to see an improvement on our walk today.
  20. Wilbur my 9yr old Lab was limping really badly on our morning walk today, not just on his back legs (he has hip displasia) but now his front legs too. The vet said it could just be arthritis but more likely to be elbow displasia and has put him on metacam. He's back for a checkup next week and if he hasn't improved they'll take some x-rays. He's had a few off days with his joints recently but this is the first time he actually seemed to be suffering and was having trouble keeping up with the other dogs - he'd stop to sniff something and then couldn't cathc up with us so I had to stop and wait for him which has never happened before. So I'm just a little worried about my baby boy.
  21. :mecry: I just can't begin to understand what makes people do things like this.
