We did make it thanks griff...3 hours to get there. 2 hours to get home...we only stayed an hour so was a long time in the car!! Sunny again today!

Morning Have to go to my nephews birthday party today, it was meant to be a picnic in a park which would have been great, but sister has changed it to a hall which is just headache inducing! Added to that; she has chosen the day of Ride London where half of London roads are shut...so keeping my fingers crossed that people will be keeping away so there won't be hideous traffic...

Thanks Griff, he has been. He was great and it is all fixed now. We think this was caused by the muppets who fixed the bathroom so likely to have been going on for a while...mainly cause he left his spanner in the sealed hot water tank area that they shouldn't have been in!! Never ever go near EG Carter...utter idiots. Still want to move though!! Glad your mum got her money back Griff, good on him for being true to his word xx

Thanks guys. Fortunately we had our agm last night for the flats and I raised our external stopcock not working and they are sending a plumber to sort that out. We have asked since our flat was redone and the mgmt company has always argued...if the external one works them the internal one isn't so much of a problem. I wish we had workmen like you griff, but we have really jobsworths... Fingers crossed for the house Owl, sounds perfect xx Not sure how you'd fair in a pub quiz Sam but I love your knowledge 🐾 Sorry you aren't sleeping Loobie. Just here to moan, sorry. Our water tank is pouring water out. So we have an emergency plumber on the way. Unfortunately our stop cook doesn't work properly and we can't get it fixed as the one in the communal area is broken. Take me so long to post this but they have cancelled and are coming tomorrow... I need to move...

Oh blimey that's crazy suzeanna. I was told the doctor could prescribe 3 months but a family planning nurse can prescribe more. I get them from the FP nurse at the surgery instead, I don't know what the difference is.

Oh my goodness Griff very naughty. It turned out it was 3 boxes as each box has three packets in it!! Luckily that will last 9months...though I think there is irony in that they give me the contraceptive pill in nine month slots!!

Why does it always take a minimum of 15 minutes to pick up a prescription? It's nine packets of the same tablet...

Morning everyone Wet, windy and bleak again today! But I am WFH so have made a start at catching up with myself. Seem to be back to 3am wake ups, so an early start today 😄

Ha ha ha Jayne!! I think it's cause I am so crap at realising...and then I rub sunscreen on legs and it's like sandpaper!! I have wax strips and waxed my bikini line...but can rarely be bothered to wax my legs! It's too much of a faff and I am cackhanded... Snow...indeed run and hide...but only after telling us what exciting things you have discovered!!

Still no sign of Griff 😢 I am sun baking in a bikini....it's been a long time since I wore swimming attire...and although I need to loose weight the world hasn't stopped spinning...and the sun is still out! Must remember to shave my legs again though 😱

I struggle to remember to take the pill every day...can I join the club please?! (I have them next to my toothbrush, I brush my teeth twice a day I have two times I could remember...and the packets are dated...but for some reason my brain looks at them...then I forget to actually take them!) Just been for a ride again on an electric bike. It is cheating but I still had to peddle up the hills!! We did 52km so I was pleased. Especially as the physio has stopped me from running at the moment! x

Love the gates Alex. I want to paint our fence panel but I will probably get it on the patio so I have to stay away at the moment... Very worrying not to hear from Griff xx

Thanks Snow. Exciting times Owl. Had a lovely bike ride yesterday (on an electric bike) still have to pedal but get a helping hand! Thunderstorms are forecast for today which isn't so good. But hopefully they'll come and the weather will be good for tomorrow when the guys ride the etape and I spend the day waiting for them!!
