Yes Carol, I am suprised, RDR have never once made slanderous comments towards Ray and have actually done nothing wrong other than to post on another forum and yet are not allowed to post on his board..................is this not suprising behaviour?

RDR are trying to help the dogs but we are told we cannot post on DP if we also post on the Refuge I didn't get into rescue to fight on a forum but I am not going to be dictated to or keep quiet about something which is very very wrong.................sorry.

RDR do a lot too but it's not a case of not agreeing which forum to go on it's a case of we shouldn't have to choose? How can we focus on the important stuff when we are not allowed and yes you are right spreading the word is a massive way to help but unfortunately some of us do not have the opportunity. Threads like this allow rescues like us here at RDR to speak the truth about being stopped from posting our needy dogs on another website because we post on here. There are no 2 sides to this story or any shades of grey just simple facts. The acheivement of a thread like this is that people actually know the truth. You say that DP works for you and what you use it for therefore you couldn't care less, well good for you but some of us don't have that luxury

Whilst many of us are not particularly bothered and can laugh about it, it's soooooo NOT right when non of us have done a thing wrong

Me too, I am still logged in as Brunzara but I can't see anything other than the list of members currently on the site and funnily enough they are all viewing the board index What worries me more than anything else is what reason they will give for RDR and their volunteers being banned?? Will they be honest and say it's because we spoke the truth about being unable to post our dogs on DP because we also post on the Refuge....................I doubt it

The reason that we have suddenly posted lot's of requests is because we are seriously struggling and we were hoping that we could maybe home some of the neutered, assessed dogs that are still in our care and have been for some time.........................is that ok?

Shansey I am so sorry that you feel the way you do and I completely understand I just needed people to understand why when we are struggling so much that we are not (because we cannot) posting for help on Dogpages as many of our supporters have suggested that we do. I also need people to understand that RDR have not done anything wrong, it's just through sheer silliness that this has happened I only speak the truth but sometimes the truth hurts

She has asked for an explanation but as yet has not received an answer.

My logical mind just can't believe that anybody can think it's fair to stop a good hardworking rescue from posting their gorgeous dogs who well deserve to be in a home onto a site just because they choose to post on another site....................It's ridiculous and how anybody can even consider trying to justify that is either brainwashed or stupid.

To be completely honest we (RDR) rarely posted on DP anyway, mainly because we were stopped from posting the "poundies" and "poundies" is what we do. Our transport co-ordinator was put on pre-mod over a comment she made on here ages ago but actually pre-mod meant that her posts were sat on for days and by then the transport was no longer needed so we then stopped posting transport requests. We occassionally posted our dogs for re-homing on there but as most of these are Staffie Crosses we rarely get any interest anyway We have our own website which does extremely well and our own wonderful little forum with many wonderful supporters (many of whom are also Mill Rescue supporters) and we have always felt very welcomed here on the Refuge. Most of the rescues that we work with don't know about or post on DP so I am 100% sure that we will be ok It's was just a bit of a shock to be told them or us, although I don't know why

As in line with other rescues that post on the Refuge, alongside Mill Rescue, the general stance is that they cannot post here. If you could clarify your postition regarding this with Ray, (using the Contacting Us selection on the blue banner) we would be grateful. I am also sending a pm to one of your volunteers explaining why her topics are not showing. There was a recent topic HERE, in Exchange, explaining further.

Oh gosh about 4-5 a week were put to sleep before we got involved, now it's 0 a week....................BUT we are really struggling at the moment hence us posting the neutered, assessed and ready to re-home dogs on DP We really need to free up some space in boarding as we have no room for the current "poundies"

I received a PM from one of the mods basically saying that because we post on The Refuge and Mill Rescue also post on here, Rays take on it is that any rescue happy to post their dogs on here, alongside Maggi, were condoning her practices, and not welcome to post their dogs on DP. So, all our topics have been set to invisible on the request of Ray and I have to clarify my position with Ray which I assume means choosing between Refuge and DP which is not going to happen! It's all a bit silly and as many of you know we have far too much to worry about at the moment other than not being allowed to post on DP I just wanted to explain as I know that some of you may be wondering where all our posts on DP have gone
