  1. Ouch. I just can't find the right emoticon for that. Good luck with it RMF: I have finally mastered downloading music from the web. I've opted for the Sugababes 'Push the button' just because I like singing along to it. It's part of my mid-life crisis I've also recently got my first pair of DMs (Phoenyx Jules made me do it. She got some better ones though, ask her to show you )
  2. I'm so sorry, didn't realise you had lost two of your boys this week Run free Dexter

  4. Sleep tight beautiful
  5. Hello Anne We missed you Big for wobbly Amber Rooney, and good thoughts for Louise and her Dad Run free Beannie and Vinnie Wendy, is that Beanie in your Garden Fred pics?
  6. Absolutely Daughter in law has just rung to say she's back from a 10k charity fun run in London, in searing heat. Mad girl We have just come back from walking Whuppety Jake on the cliffs & beach at Whitburn, which was packed with kids, dogs, adults all racing about, digging holes, swimming and all sorts. You just can't beat the English seaside. We saw the most beautiful big blue greyhound too - you would have loved him
  7. Good morning Wendy Hope it's a lovely day for everyone I think someone has drugged my toothpaste this morning. I've been up since 6am, done some work work, some housework, swept the paths, washed up, put the washer on etc etc. I am bursting with energy. I want to take Whippety Jake out for a walk but he won't get out of bed. Anyone in the North East got a dog that would like to go out
  8. Thanks Carole, it's nice to be back, and thanks for your support over Domino How much longer are you life laundering for? When you've finished could you please do mine too For Claire and the rotten decision facing her
  9. Well, for a fiver and considering it was dry cut and I was in and out in ten minutes, it's flipping not bad at all, thanks I've been too much of a misery guts to be on here much lately, but have read back a bit this morning and am sending big and for Louisebt's Dad, Sam Squirrel's eyes and anyone else who needs them. My RMF for today is that my ancient and crazy mother has just rung to tell me that she's broken her foot, has a cast on up to her knee but is very pleased with the zimmer frame the hospital gave her, and is currently trimming it up with her England flags
  10. Morning Going for my hair cutting in a minute. To a little village hairdresser I've never been to before, but it's nearby and I haven't got the time or the money to spend half a day trailing off to my usual place. I'm having a dry cut for the princely sum of a fiver, cos that's all they can fit in today I'm a bit nervous. The difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut is a fortnight, right
  11. Dylan I'd forgotten about his tufty little coat, he looked like a badly stuffed cushion I remember the day he and Red came home to Phoenyx - it was my first ever transport run, riding shotgun in the Big White Van

    Jessie

    Oh no Sleep tight Jessie
  13. Helen that's such lovely news about your mum, you must all be so relieved Funny old randome mundane day here. OH and I worked out we have got about 4 weeks left before we are really up poo creek unless he finds another job. Instead of sitting down for a rational discussion to work out Plan B we had a big row, which always helps Ho hum, tomorrow is another day Did anyone watch Corrie - I was nearly at Shaun and his Dad.
  14. It's horrible when that happens Horses will be horses, but you feel responsible, even when there's nothing to feel responsible for Is Minty badly hurt
  15. I am officially old Elton John has been playing near me tonight, and it's been going on for hours now, with the base booming away but not quite loud enough to actually hear the song. That's enough now Elton, shurrup, or I am coming round in my pyjamas. Edited to say a tiny winged insect just flew up my nose
  16. It was good, wasn't it especially the bit where they were...... no, that would spoil it for folks who haven't seen it yet
  17. Poor lad is still as lame as a duck, but it comes and goes. Farrier has checked him and doesn't *think* it's an abcess but he does have a slight pulse and bit of heat there. We are soldiering on with his box rest and drugs, but he's not happy about staying in while it's so lovely Thanks for asking
  18. Hmmm, I'm thinking I might go the beach at 2pm, it should be nice and empty and whuppety Jake can do mad running without fear of being jumped on by strange dogs (whose owners shout 'don't worry, he just wants to say hello' when they can see Jake clearly doesn't )
  19. Poor Sammy Traillie I am wibbling this morning, waiting for the vet to come out to see Domino, my horse. The physio came out last night to see what looked like a fairly simple muscle strain, but she was quite concerned and wants the vet to take a look. I've got a bad feeling about this
  20. I love that - we should make it bizarre phrase of the day
  21. Eewwww, I can't believe I've just accidentally read the phrase 'cut a flap in the eye' and I'm still upright *shudder* Big cyber-hug going out for Snow, MelP, Riley and everyone else who's having a horrid time today It's flippin boiling here and I am up in the garret stuck in front of a hot computer.
  22. Good night I'm off up the little wooden hill too. Early start for work tomorrow. Yak
  23. For Tracey, sending peaceful thoughts for your Gran. for Snow's mum for TillyRoos
