  1. Yantan, you can get smaller versions not as nice as that one though.
  2. Thanks for the hugs. I said a few weeks back i thought Hoppy wasnt right but then he improved and was back to normal. This morning when i got to stables he wasnt there and that never happens so i knew something was wrong. Quickly fed and rugged horses then started looking for him in the dark. He then came in barn pulling himself along by his front legs and was in terrible pain. He only had 3 legs and today his back end had gone and was massively swollen. True to form he dragged himself to his food bowl and demanded breakfast! I chucked horses in fields then phoned vets and rushed up there but nothing could be done except let him go. He went curled up on my lap purring like mad. Hope Rubys results are good. Gooster, even the incentive of mr gorgeous wouldnt have me that keen to go to a gymn, lol Griff, at least if you're busy you cant get into trouble lol My emoctions/smileys wont work!!
  3. I'm devastated, this morning after an emergency run to vets my beautiful stable cat Hoppy has gone to the Bridge. They believe he had a tumour that 'went' and theres was nothing that could be done
  4. Jazz, can you let him go again is the real question after seeing how happy you were to get him back. Been without coffee for two days and had massive caffeine withdrawal symptons. Any one spoke to me literally got their heads bitten off and had bad shakes last night so i've bought some and my body is filled with joy [and caffeine!].I could honestly feel the difference...i'm obviously more addicted than i ever realised!
  5. Sorry i missed this, Happy Birthday!!
  6. Poor Cozzie, hope he gets better soon even if it does mean surgery
  7. for Murtles FIL kinky cat I have been to A +E was immediately laid flat and immobolised, loads of x rays done, there was one very scary bit when they decided a section of my back needed re x raying as i heard the doctor saying 'dont like the look of that' but i've been given the all clear and its severe bruising.Having said that a few years ago my wrist was x rayed and given all clear to be told two days later 'oh it is fractured' However dr didnt seem to believe how the accident happened and kept questioning me. I think if i was going to lie i'd make up something a bit more exciting than a trampoline fell on me lol.
  8. I have been such a bloody idiot and hurt like hell. I needed to move trampoline so pushed it to stand on its edge against back fence then i could manouvere it along just the few foot it needed. I dropped the bag i was holding and without thinking i bent to pick it up. The trampoline slammed straight across my back and shoulder blades with the edge hitting me. Not a clever thing to do!! The bottom of left shoulder blade aint too happy. Cant believe i was so stupid, I'll head off to horses soonish and get them done early , they'll be fine with extra hay and then maybe A+E on way home.
  9. Obviously CP needs a bit more brainwashing cos she aint listening to us PW, it sounds like you're right and gut instinct is normally right so hope Wanda enjoys her retirement. Will you get another riding horse in the future?
  10. Wow thats one huge donkey, how many can you fit in your grazing CP? and dont say none ..we've only got your boys best interests at heart
  11. I'm sure she be delighted..possibly lost for words but we'll understand
  12. Thats great news Owl Think you're right over Hoppy, will try to sort out something at home and see if he'll settle to a home life.
  13. ......or on DP there is a 30yr old 12.2hh looking for a home.....
  14. Ohh , shall we start a donkey hunt?!!!!!
  15. Suzeanna, thats so sad, is she expected to live a while yet or is it pretty bad. I'll send good thoughts xx I'm a bit worried about Hoppy my stable cat. Hes an old boy of roughly 13-15yrs, he turned up as a 3 legged boy approx 11 yrs ago. Hes always been in great health only needed an odd dose of antibiotics for abcesses which the vets let me have as Hoppy doesnt like being handled. Stroking etc is fine but any more than that and he reverts to the feral state he first arrived as. He just turned up one day and refused to leave!! Now hes doing daft things like walking or laying down as i'm leading the horses in and out, its as if hes totally oblivious to them but has nearly been squashed several times and as hes only got 3 legs it'll be a disaster if it happens. He's also slowing down a lot with his walking. Sometimes he doesnt seem to realise his food is there either and you have to take his bowl to him. Could this be pain as in arthritis or dementia, is there anything homeopathic i could try before we have the vet trauma. Have considered bringing him home to live but one of my cats is a stroppy sod who will make his life hell. Any ideas please?
  16. Yay for norty Chloe Another 'dont worry over the two minute silence', Went to our rememberence parade as Jodie was one of the wreath layers today [i always go anyway] and a poor elderly gentlemen a war veteran fainted. He seemed better by the time they got him in the ambulance but he had fallen hard on the road. I was a bit worried at first as he was by Jodie and i thought it was her that had gone down! Trouble was the sun is out but its very cold and after a lot of standing around i think it was a bit much for him.
  17. Thats great !! Some people think its a terrible thing to do and someone reported her for cruelty but i'm sure her horse would have been badly or fatally injured by now if she hadnt done it.
  18. Dont know if this would help but a friend had a horse that was always breaking out of electric tape as he had to be rugged. In desperation after he was nearly hit by a car she attached a piece of electric tape to the front of his rug making sure it threaded through to touch him. Next time he did it he literally got a nasty shock and has never broken out again. Its probably not the best of ideas but it has probably saved his life.
  19. Wow, thanks Snow. I'm going to order some!
  20. Poor Rob. Have to say i did a similar thing to Jodie a while ago. She'd decided to sleep in my bed for some reason and i had a terrible dream that a man was trying to kill me. Jodie must have flung her arm across me or something and i bit her very hard, she was screaming and had a nasty bite from me as in the dream i was fighting for my life. Luckily my doctor believed me when i took her to get it checked out, took more time to convince Jodie i didnt mean to do it!!
  21. Hugs for Noah Steph , as long as you're happy sod what anyone else thinks!!! Owl, hope your mums ok Thumper the rabbit isnt too good again. He was ill a few weeks back and recovered well. He has the run of the garden and his hutch etc is in the shed but he doesnt seem to be handling the cold weather , hes quiet for him and if you pick him up he literally burrows into you and just lies there, no attitude or anything so think hes going to have to become an indoor boy now. Hes about 3 yrs old and so not what i'd class as old.. I'm sure these animals are trying to get my rapidly greying hair pure white as soon as they can lol.
  22. Suzeanna , i know you have arthritis but do you have IBS or similar as well? I cant take anti inflammatories for longer than 2 -3 days as it kicks my IBS off and i feel so sick its awful. Also my dads doctor has told him that with anti inflammatories you need to drink water till you cant drink no more! Apparently if you dont you get side effects even worse. I think chucking sweets etc is a serious offence [well in my eyes it is!!] so i suggest eating em!!!
