My opinion will not be popular but here it goes anyway. The jogger didn't just fell over, he broke his ankle. Having broken my ankle myself after falling over a Great Dane , I know the pain is excrutiating and it never quite heals properly either. The man had a right to go jogging without being jumped on by a dog. And I wonder if the judgement had something to do with the owner being a member of the RSPCA and if the judgement had been different if an *ordinary* person had owned the dog.

Thank you. Yes, the bone is no problem and I am sure she'd enjoy it. I am more worried about the immune system side of things, she is not a young dog and has been bred to a standstill.

Leonie the DdB x Boxer has been to the vets yesterday for spaying and a dental. She has Gingivitis which is linked to Immune System problems and that would tie in with her bad skin. I already have her on Eccinacea but am clueless what else to give her. Any ideas?

European Parliament To Decide Over Fate Of Stray Animals http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/agains...pean-union.html Please read this carefully - if that law is passed then it will give card blanche for mass slaughter of stray animals EU wide. This is horrific!!

I think the mystery of where she comes from is solved. I had a visit today from a guy in a white van of the "travelling" persuasion, selling the usual c*ap. Leonie legged it into the house and hid under the table.

Leonie has been wormed, had her first vacc and has been treated for mange . She is such a lovely girl and can already be walked off leash. Her pressure sores are healing nicely as well. She ignores my horses and has such a lovely even temperament! She is also clean in the house!! Loves to ride in the van. Vet was impressed with how placid she is! She'll soon be ready for her OP and after that she will be looking for a couch of her own!

The maniac has calmed down a GREAT deal, he was very well behaved and could actually stay focussed for quite some time! Corrine has put alot of work into him and its beginning to show big time. And what can I say about Maya and Pierce....

The owners lost their repective jobs and now have to travel every day to their new jobs . It was a heartbreaking to see them cry when they left although Otis took no notice and kept on playing... he really is just 12 weeks old, his baby teeth are needle sharp!

Look at the size of this pup! Bracco Italiano is a beautiful breed but I thought rather rare here in Ireland. It's nice for a change to get in a dog that was not abused. He is a darling doglet! Otis is 12 weeks old.
