Sarah_H
I went through this with Mac in particular when my two went to Doggy Day Care. They used to ignore me, look at me with a 'and who are you' expression. I am lucky that now I've moved I can get home at lunch to take them out and don't need day care, but to improve things with Mac, I took some time off work went to Day care to see how they were handling him to ensure we were consistent at home as they were at day care. i also cut out all titbits going to day care, he had his breakfast with me and his tea with me that was it. Maybe a chew late evening but nothing during the day. I got alot out of spending a day or two with the people at the Day Care and Mac improved alot, esp as well could ensure consistancy in how he was being trained and handled. Perhaps you could do that if your Day Care place would let you.
