  1. Doggy lover is the one you want for that. She has about 5 sewing machines.
  2. I think nothing bigger than spanial sized but not smaller than westie size. Lottie is big 25" but, saying that when I walked in a voice shouted across reception "Thats not a German Shepherd" at which point the manager said "well, I knew it was a German something" Point being that they were not fazed about a GSD being a visiting dog. I'll speak to her and see what she says. I don't want to push it incase it puts her off. I did mention there was an ancient JRT on here a while ago and she was well interested. They want old as old means sedade. I did say they could buy the food from wholesalers and as there are a good few residents in the home I am sure there will be plenty leftovers of good quality that the dog could eat. Some of the old peoples faces truely lit up when Lottie entered the room. It was so nice to see.
  3. I take Lottie in and they love her. I think that is why the manager wants to get a resident one. I'll feed back what you said to her though. Thank you
  4. Manager does not live on site but, dog would.
  5. Lottie and I have been visiting an old peoples home and the manager mentioned she would like a resident dog. Something old, not to big and very laid back to live there. Would a rescue re home to this circumstance? If so, is there anything someone can post that I can print out to take in next time we visit please? I did point out that if the dog is old that the rescue sometimes covers the vet fee's but, am not sure so any info would be great.
  6. When I lost my Lucy I decided I would wait 3 months before looking for another dog as I believed the right one would present itself. I was also worried that grief may cause me to make a mistake I would regret if I acted hastily. 4 days later I had Lottie. (and a damn long drive) The right dog presented itself straight away and I have never regretted it. With me it just feels like the right dog. The feeling is like being booted in the stomach so I tend to go with the gutt.
  7. An old peoples home near me would like a resident dog. Something old and very calm. Do any of you have anything I can print out and take next time Lottie and I go please. Not a dog but, vets fee's, and general advice about how they would go about it. They love Lottie. They just have to do a police check on me to proove I'm not an axe murderer and we're sorted. I am going to get the manager on the oldies website so she can have a look. Thank you.x
  8. I have wanted some sort of Lucy tribute but could'nt think what. After Becky's reading I decided a hare would be perfect. I am having one on 22nd June. It's a watercolour painting. Not moon gazing. It's 2 sessions so won't be finished till 6th July. Tattooist said it will look brill. Will post it when done. I hope you will post the finished greyhounds as that will be crackin when finished
  9. That hare is amazing. The dogs will be brilliant too when finished.
  10. Just thought I had better add. I live in Macclesfield, Cheshire
  11. I have filled in the forms for Lottie to be a PAT dog and now just need to get her assessed. Pingu said to let him know as he was an assessor but, I cannot seem to get in touch with him. I have 2 old peoples near where I live wanting Lottie already as their last PAT dog has retired. Do any of you on here do the assessments? and if so, can I please arrange for one to be done. Ellie
  12. Please PM me when it's convenient. It's about PAT dogs. Ellie x
  13. She's good isn't she. I don't know if I want a reading for Lottie now though. Becky did say she thought I might not. I would like to know why she is such a complete TIT though. ( Lottie, not Becky) Think I'll email her today and see what she thinks.
  14. We (Lottie and I) are going on the Wednesday 23rd as that is the Gundog day. Are any of you lot going???
  15. Julie Gibson Smith is mine. My pal paypalled it over for me
  16. Billymalc. Who cares. You're a nice person and you love your dogs.
  17. I would of laughed. Have you thought that she may be gay and was fishing as she likes you?
  18. Angelsey is not bad. Pm Jackysian she'll know
  19. There is a readings thread or I'll pm you Becky's email when I get to work. I was going to ask her if she could do bridge dogs but, no need. I think she was as suprised as I was. She told me (Lucy) that I will always have a dog but, they will always run off as she wants time with me so sends them on a wild goose chase. Becky said Lucy sent a hare and every time Lottie does one it's after a hare (not any other animal) She also said not to worry as she would be safe. Becky told me she did the course because she was sceptical about such things. She sent me a lovely thank you email.
  20. It's weird as I was thinking about her all day before Becky rang. Maybe thats why she came through as she was already on my mind.
  21. It started off fine but nothing related to lottie except she had knocked two teeth out. This was because Lucy had muscled in and taken over. Becky who was doing the reading was crying and said it had not happened before. She continued but with Lucy and was very good. She did say I could try again for Lottie but, don't be suprised if Lucy comes through again as she was very strong. It was so bob on. I am sceptical about these things but, she told me personal stuff that only me and Lucy did . Typical Junkyard. I'm well impressed.
