  2. Here's the pic Owl - but I'm useless at captions beaten to it
  3. well it would have been stolen if I could have got hold of it.
  4. Umm yes I do have experience of rabbit eating.Trixie killed and ate one recntly, every last little bit. There as no way in the world I as going to get it off her and she started gulping it down so worried she would choke I left her to it,and didn't give her anything else to eat that evening,no side effects whatsoever - but everytime she woke up and moved during the night I was up watching her Duncan's cut pad has finally almost healed so took them over to meadows by river after work and bless him he was so happy to be off lead after a week - and so was I,hate doing long onlead walks.
  5. Found a way to transport the confounded gazebo which is too long to fit in the boot, attached it to the front headrests with 2 bungee cords hooked on the rests, worked a treat resting on the tables and very stable as well.
  6. Superb weather for this, nice breeze on the hill where it was held.Busy show - 53 classes as well as Terrier and Lurcher racing.I was the only rescue stall there, didn't make a huge amount £67.00 well was £77.00 but they asked for a £10.00 donation to St Margaret's Hospice (beneficaries of show) but lots more people know about OC now and that's the main reason to do them .Obligatory photo attached, just after setting up at 8.15am so looks very quiet,it filled up rapidly afterwards. There were some fabulous Terriers there,I was in heaven with the Borders especially, shame I didn't have any help as would have loved to enter my two for a few classes.
  7. Well a ball loving Border Terrier is a good cause in my eyes but don't know of anyone in that area sadly, don't suppose you are coming to the camping weekend.....
  8. Unbelievably someone has decided dog fighting would make a great app Please do contact the originators and ask them to withdraw it - and spread the word as well. Dog Wars
  9. Cost of posting tennis balls is horrendous but thanks so much for thinking of me.Where are you in case anyone else in OC can use them and collect? I've an ebay seller who lives in next street so I watch for when he has them listed and collect myself
  10. Tis glorious here today.Duncan sliced his paw very badly on some broken glass on Monday - in local fields so we're very restricted where we can go in this wonderful weather.I've been going over to the park just 2 doors down,it has a stream and lots of shade,Trixie amuses herself chasing squirrels or paddling while Duncan sits chewing up tennis balls but how I miss my lovely long walks, and I hate having him on lead all the time.It is healing so hopefully next week he can come off-lead.Car is all packed for my first Oldies Club stall at Crewkerne tomorrow, well except for chocolate goodies which will go in tomorrow morning.
  11. Well done everyone else.Lost the yoyoing pound this week hopefully that's the last I'll see of that one and will lose another this week.
  12. Glad she's back home again and hopefully by today will be feeling much better - and not looking quite so gruesome

  19. just picked up some more stuff,in response this time to an ad I placed. From 2 people - 2 huge toiletry sets,1 in a basket,1 on a tray, candles,Woods of Windsor gorgeous room scented set - candles, incense, oil etc in a gift box, lots of other toiletries,a watch, scented drawer liners, cuddly toys and more.I'm overwhelmed by their generosity and that's 2 people now who weren't aware Oldies existed before but sure do now

  22. 1 year ago - well it was a Monday but 12/04 I came home from work to find my darling, sweet, pretty little Daisy had passed away.I was totally devastated and wracked with guilt I wasn't there with her.We only had 5 years together, wasn't nearly long enough. Miss her so much, till we meet again my darling
  23. Glorious day here, heading off soon for Brean walk, need to pick up an ebay buy in Bridgwater first and am desperately hoping it will fit in the car Trixie may have to sit on Duncan's lap for rest of journey (don't worry they'll be safe)
