My warmblood was broken on a well known show jumpers yard, and they have a showjumper with only one eye. His mum trod on hiim when he was a foal. He appears to do very well.

I know people don't tend to like pigeons but we had a baby one in overnight when it was learning to fly (and failing dismally and then got "stuck" in a hedge as it was getting dark) and released it the next morning onto the lower roof, from where it was collected by mum and dad so I rather like them That wasn't much help was it? Sorry I love pigeons Ooops didnt quite get the quotey thing right Sorry!

If ive read this right and the chewing is caused by pain, have you tried PLT. A lot people may not agree, but ive had two shepherd with bad hips and found it marvellous, though i must say it doesnt suit all dogs, you have to keep a close watch on them, especially at first. It is an old fashioned drug now, but my dogs were on it for 3+ yrs and no problems at all. Found it much better than metacam. PS Axel is scrummy
