Asda is my local shop but I don't like it. My branch is always poorly stocked and looks a mess. There's a Tesco and a Morrisons fairly near and they're always better stocked. I prefer shopping there Do you still buy from Zooplus Jazz? All the stuff I've bought regularly for the dogs for years has been out of stock for months - I wonder if they'll survive

Yay for no mice Jazz. Nice day here if a tad chilly. Richard has gone to football with his son so I have the house to myself for a few hours. think I'll plant some more seeds - still have a bit of room left on the conservatory window sills lol. Glad the fosters are settled Jazz - how long are they here for?
-
How are the new fosters settling in Jazz? Hope you feel better soon Owl That's interesting about the immunity Blackmagic. I did wonder if I had some form of natural immunity as I never catch anything despite being in contact with people with covid or flu . The worst thing I ever get is a cold

Hi to CRB and welcome to Adi- what a cutie. I've been decorating the living room today and it's totally wiped me out, going feeble in my old age lol
-
Hope you're better soon Jazz. Hot here today. 20c in Scotland in March and felt even warmer than that! Same again due tomorrow. Got a streaming cold so I think I'll just sit in the garden and soak up the sun as it's due to turn colder next week. Should be doing lots of stuff but that can wait lol
-
They'll probably go back whichever way they came in Jazz. Fingers crossed it works for you. Ive got a 'sentry box' type mini greenhouse Blackmagic but it doesn't seem to hold a lot of plants so I'll have a look at the pop up type. Saw one in B&M the other day which looked reasonable. Another warm and sunny day here today. Don't know how long it will last but it's cheering me up just now. Hope you've all got the same

True Blackmagic, mice prefer chocolate to cheese. Just go straight to the sonic deterrent Jazz - it really works. Been absolutely gorgeous here today, warm and sunny, no jacket required lol. Meant to be even warmer over the next few days, good for body, mind and soul 😊 I planted out a magnolia and some foxgloves. I'm itching to plant out so many others that I've got growing on in the conservatory but I know it's too early. Still contemplating whether to get a greenhouse or not. It's not a very big garden though and I'm reluctant to sacrifice any more space. Richard doesn't mind me taking over the conservatory and kitchen window ledges with seeds and plants so I might just carry on with that for now

Meant to say, sorry for Lewis' girlfriend - and Lewis - he'll be hurting too
-
Aw, poor Kevin, hope he's back home with you tomorrow. I agree with Blackmagic re the sonic mouse deterrents. They really do work Jazz - we used them when we lived in France and they solved the problem. The dogs we had then didn't even seem to notice them lol. Though Kai was good at killing rats.
-
Everything crossed Kevin's dental goes smoothly and hope you manage some sleep. Hope everyone is well

Hope they help Jazz. Been a nothing sort of day here, dull and cloudy but not cold. Had a wander over to the shops and bought some plants from BM bargains. Lots of work to do in the garden as the previous owner covered all the borders in membrane and gravel so I have to clear all that whenever I want to plant anything. It'll take a while, but I'll get there. Also need to start decorating but waiting on a plasterer to say when he can do some tidying up before I can start. I'm not good at waiting lol

Thanks Owl - I never seem to be looking at the night sky at the right time to see this for real. One day I will!
-
Good morning, hope everyone is well

Everything crossed for a speedy recovery

Trying to keep up with Jazz's fosters and failing miserably lol

Was my dream home too Jazz but unfortunately have to think of the future. Richard's mobility is getting worse so a large Victorian house and wonderful countryside was a bit of a waste. We've moved to a more modern house nearer to shops and facilities. My son is also just 20 minutes away so not all bad. Plus we get deliveries from everyone, not just a select few lol. It's a bit of an adjustment but we'll be fine.
-
Poor Kevin, hope he doesn't have to lose too many more. And reminds me I have to find a new dentist. I've registered with a doctor, found a good hairdresser but not signed up with a dentist yet. Hopefully won't be moving again anytime soon - too many things to think about lol
-
Feels a strange point to jump back in but here I am. Sorry to be AWOL for so long - had a lot of family stuff to deal with and we've moved house. Just to Paisley but it feels like we're back into civilisation again - I'm near proper shops lol. I've been reading all your posts and been thinking of you all.

Cooper has damaged his cruciate ligament in his back left leg. He's being referred to a specialist in Stirling for an op to repair it. Nick is in the vets tomorrow to get his tracheotomy tube removed. Honey is being wrapped in bubble wrap as we speak so there are no more injured dogs lol. She is my wee tough nut mind you and doesn't 'do' injuries/illnesses.
-
Took Cooper to the vet to have his x-ray on his leg. Picking him up in an hour. Been watering the garden as it's still hot and sunny here and no sign of any down pours for us.
-
Finally back home. Slightly cooler than most of the places we stopped on the way up (35C at Cobham services yesterday!) but still a very hot 26C Hope Nikki is feeling safer and more confident every day xx

How's she settling in Jazz? Been unbearably hot here today. I'll be glad to get back to Scotland for a cool down lol
